The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans ruled 2-1 Wednesday to maintain a block on the mandate that a Texas-based federal judge had issued on Jan. 21. The administration had asked the New Orleans court for an injunction allowing the federal worker mandate to move forward pending appeal.

President Joe Biden announced in September that more than 3.5 million federal workers were required to undergo vaccination, with no option to get regularly tested instead, unless they secured approved medical or religious exemptions. The requirement kicked in this past November.  That mandate continues to be blocked.

Ontario has brought in more draconian rules to crack down on Freedom Convoy truckers – including vehicle seizures and fines – just days after honking was banned and after the US told Canada to use federal powers to end the blockades.

US President Joe Biden on Thursday urged his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau to impose further rules as the bumper-to-bumper demonstration on the city’s Ambassador Bridge forced auto plants on both sides of the border to shut down or scale back production.

The communists must crush this protest in a way so that people will not think to do this again.  However, the freedom genie is out of the bottle.  There is no putting the genie back in.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau addressed the Canadian Parliament, speaking about the Freedom Convoy.

Unfortunately, Trudeau shows no signs of backing away from his hardline stance on the mandates or putting an end to all of the tyrannical covid-19 restrictions permanently.

When the customary question period started after his address, Trudeau showed his cowardice and ran out of the room.  Trudeau won’t even listen to members of his own parliament.

What’s next?  Tanks rolling down the streets of Ottawa like Nikita Khrushchev did in Hungary in 1956?

While Trudeau is playing hide and seek with the people of Canada, high school students in this country are walking out of their schools over mask mandates.

The same thing has happened in Illinois and other states.  Is it any wonder that the sainted Dr. Fauci has once again pivoted and said that we are coming out of the pandemic?  Remember when a couple of weeks ago he said we were still in phase 1 of the pandemic.  This man needs an orange jump suit.
