Where do they get these people? The first day on the job can be challenging for anyone. However, when one is the White House Press Secretary one should be able to at least partially respond to a reporter’s question even if it means lying. Karine Jean-Pierre does not appears to possess even that skill.
Jean-Pierre proclaimed herself to be a black woman, an immigrant and gay.

It would be nice if competency was one of the qualifications needed for the job. Putin and China are laughing their a***s off.
Jean-Pierre went on to display to the world that she is a complete idiot.
"How does raising taxes on corporations lower the cost of gas, the cost of a used car, the cost of food for everyday Americans?"

Jean-Pierre appears to be barely competent to read the required script. However, the script she picked to answer the question does not come close to addressing the question asked.
How does a supposedly fairer tax code lower prices? It doesn’t. Higher taxes on corporations will result in higher costs for consumers. That’s economics 101.
Jean-Pierre is another affirmative action selection who will be an utter failure because competency for the job was never considered. This is racism at its worst. The entire Biden administration is diversity hiring in action. The whole country is witnessing what it will be like when people are hired based on race and sex instead of merit.
It is possible she may make Biden’s and Harris’ speeches look coherent. And I did not think that was possible.
A quote from Abraham Lincoln comes to mind.
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.”
Someone asked, “Can’t they find a single, normal, intelligent, honest person for the job?” The answer, of course, is no. The stress of lying all the time would be too much for an honest person.
