Biden’s Coming For Your Guns

Joe Biden took to the podium to demand a litany of new gun restrictions.  Biden called for the banning of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines through reinstating the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban.

Biden also called on Congress to construct new federal background checks, which sounded a lot like a federal registration of gun ownership.

The Second Amendment is not absolute?  This is a direct attack on the right to bear arms for one’s own defense.  When the Democrats are finished, the criminals will have guns and the public will not.  How did that work out in Great Britain?  How about Australia?

Biden comes around to this attack on the 2^nd Amendment again when he lies that gun manufacturers has no liability regarding their weapons.  Of course, they do just as any manufacturer of a defective product does.

What they are not responsible for is the person who uses the weapon to kill someone else.  This is just common sense.  We do not hold the auto company responsible the Waukesha tragedy when a deranged individual mowed down people at a Christmas parade.  The people executing these tragedies are the responsible parties.

What Biden failed to mention was that Columbine occurred while the federal Assault Weapons Ban (AWB) was in effect.  The AWB included a ban on high capacity magazines.  So it didn’t prevent Columbine.

The scientific consensus among criminologists and other researchers is that the AWB had little to no effect on overall criminal activity, firearm deaths, or even the lethality of gun crimes. Studies have found that the overwhelming majority of gun crimes are committed with weapons which were not covered by the AWB, and that assault weapons are less likely to be used in homicides than other weapons.

So, this speech by Biden is just to soften up the public for the gun grab and ending of the 2^nd Amendment that will come later on down the road.  As Tucker Carlson said earlier this evening, Biden intends to disarm his enemies. This is not about protecting children, protecting schools, or protecting the innocent, this is about disarming those who oppose the tyranny in DC.

Why are the majority always the ones being punished when a tragedy like this happens?  Yes, I said the majority.  Listen to this speech by Mark Robinson.  This was before he became the first black Lt. Governor of North Carolina.

This is a great example of free speech.  What a blessing this man is. He doesn’t need a speech written for him.  It comes straight from his heart.  And he means every word of it!

Biden wants to tackle the serious mental health issues that have been created by Big Pharma.  His path to this are red flag laws.  Red flag laws are a serious impediment to one’s freedom and liberty.  And, as usual with the Democrats, expanding red flag laws (19 states at the moment) would most likely have the opposite effect of what they say is the intent.

Expanded red flag laws would have a serious chilling effect on good mental health care. Do you really want to express to a doctor that you’re depressed, only to have that doctor then flag you as a risk to yourself or others? God forbid you should make a statement in jest and have some overzealous person interpret it as serious and then you’re deprived of your rights. Best not to say anything at all now.

And how about all those looney lefties who are just waiting to file some frivolous, anonymous complaint against a gun owner?  I can foresee tens of thousands of such complaints.

This is all about the November election not about protecting school children!  Democrats believe gun control is a winning issue and know the corrupt leftist Big Media will bash Republicans and gun owners until Election Day!  Biden won’t harden the schools like was done in Israel since this would eliminate this issue.
