Insurrection

Capitol Police arrested 9 members of Stephen Colbert’s staff on Thursday night for busting into the Longworth House Office Building.  This sounds a bit like Watergate to me.  Or were they scouting the place out for a potential insurrection when the Republicans regain control of the House?

The cops shooed them away once.  However, the group surfaced later after the Capitol complex was closed to the public.   Apparently they took pictures and video around the offices of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Lauren Boebert (R-CO).  Sounds like a prelude to insurrection to me.  When will the FBI Swat teams be knocking down their front doors?

They were arrested and charged with illegal entry. They were arrested near Boebert’s office. How long will they have to remain in the Capitol gulag?  Oh, I forgot.  They are part of the PR arm of the Democratic Party.  They were released in the morning while others from January 6th still remain under arrest for walking through the Capitol Building more than a year ago.  Let’s remember Colbert’s people actually broke in.

Liberals are targeting the homes of Supreme Court justices and their children. An attempted assassination of Kavanaugh was thwarted by a change of heart at the last minute.

The media defends it as free speech.

Perhaps the NYTimes and WaPo need some mostly peaceful protests to occur at their headquarters.  I am sure they would call such actions an attack on democracy.

The not so civil war between Democrats and Republicans on Capitol Hill took a new turn this year with a previously undisclosed investigation into the serial defacing of a poster outside the Longworth House Office Building office of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) that declared there are only two genders, male and female.

Sounds like the start of an insurrection against Republican members of the House.  Next thing you know, they will be declaring that Republicans’ use of accepted scientific facts as a form of terrorism.

The Democrats are all in on the idea of “by any means necessary.”

Insurrection came to the Wisconsin state capital on Wednesday. Governor Tony Evers (D) held a special session as the Supreme Court ruling on Roe v Wade looms. Evers wanted Republicans to  repeal a law that makes killing babies illegal. The Republicans refused.

If the Supreme Court overturns Roe v Wade, abortion will effectively be illegal in Wisconsin.

This is just a prelude to violence across the country.  The organization Ruth Sent Us has promised rioting if Roe v Wade is overturned.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a memo in May, warning of violence coming from the far-right against abortion clinics and providers as the Supreme Court is expected to overturn Roe v. Wade.

DHS has had nothing to say about the far-left organizations that have attacked dozens of pro-life centers and Catholic churches.  At this point, all of the violence related to the anticipated Supreme Court decision has come from left-wing groups and individuals.

More than twenty pro-life and pregnancy centers have been firebombed or attacked since last month’s leaked Supreme Court draft opinion, and over a dozen Catholic churches have been targeted.

The incidents have ranged from graffiti vandalizing to smashing windows and arson. Some of the attacks are anonymous, while others have been claimed by extremist pro-abortionist groups like “Jane’s Revenge,” the “Anti Hope Brigade,” and “Ruth Sent Us.”

When will arrests be made?  Of, that’s right.  I forgot.  The FBI is too busy checking what pronouns they use.
