Nearly three years after bureaucrats shuttered businesses, forced people to stay home, and threatened fines for those who didn’t comply, all in the name of preventing the spread of a respiratory virus that cannot be controlled that way, the regime is quietly reviving the “forever pandemic.”
“The pandemic is over,” President Joe Biden declared during a “60 Minutes” interview in September. The heat of the election cycle prompted such a declaration. Many Americans got the false hope that everyday life was returning to normal.
However, once the election was over, the totalitarians jumped back in to assert their control over the public. Biden extended the COVID emergency to April, 2023. Such unilateral declaration allows the administration to impose unconstitutional restrictions on American liberties.
The bought members of the media began to spout that masking was once again needed. The Atlantic ran a piece asking if everyone should mask up. One propaganda arm of the Democrats, the NYTimes, hinted that flying safely required a mask.
Despite the legitimate scrutiny the CDC has received for its bureaucratic malfeasance, its Director Rochelle Walensky confirmed the agency’s commitment to reintroducing protocols that, according to the science, don’t stop infection from spreading.
Public schools in some large Democratic strongholds have re-introduced forced masking despite evidence that indicates forced masking takes a toll on children’s ability to learn and speak.
Biden, who smeared former President Donald Trump as xenophobic for introducing a similar policy in 2020, quietly enacted testing restrictions on travelers from Covid-plagued China last week.
Dr. Fauci returned to TV after Election Day to parrot more lies about COVID and the mRNA therapies. This man has singlehandedly destroyed many small businesses in this country. Everything he says needs to be proceeded by a statement that his utterances come under the category of disinformation.
Recently I was watching a girls’ high school basketball game. Two of the girls on one team were wearing masks. The insanity of this is off the charts. They were playing a game with significant amounts of close physical contact. Everyone involved handles the ball. There is absolutely no way that masks have any ability to protect them from any infectious respiratory disease virus. Anybody who says that masks are good is engaging in virtue signaling of the worst kind. They are spreading false information.
Will supposed pandemics become the way to take away people’s freedoms and liberties? People need to step up and tell the totalitarians that we are onto them. Enough is enough!
