New Jersey will phase out the sale of new gas-powered cars by 2035, joining states such as California and New York, Gov. Phil Murphy (D) announced Wednesday. This goes hand in hand with the Left’s plan to reduce or eliminate the public’s ability to travel freely.
In the future that they envision for the rest of us, the only people who will be able to own a car are the wealthy and powerful. Everyone else will be expected to use public transportation. Think back to Moscow in the days when the communists ruled the Soviet Union.
The Advanced Clean Cars II rule, set to take effect Jan. 1, comes amid a growing plethora of problems with EV’s. Car makers are stuck with an inventory of EV’s that nobody wants despite the government’s campaign to coerce people into EV’s. Major car companies are shuttering their EV production.
Congratulations to NJ for being late to the party. In fact, the party is over when it comes to EV’s.
The next item comes from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and it involves outsiders having control of the gas pedal in your car.
While you’re driving, of course.
The proposal from the NTSB is to install “intelligent speed assistance” tech in all cars, a system that uses a car’s GPS location and local speed limit postings “to help ensure safe and legal speeds.”
Yes. You heard that right. They want to be able to control the speed of your car while you are driving it.
The NTSB is also working on a campaign to require a “kill switch” in new cars, a process that would allow the automatic disabling of a vehicle under certain conditions.

Kennedy’s wit was displayed again during an interview with Fox News’ Martha MacCallum. During his appearance, he managed to trigger both the Biden regime and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) after taking a creative shot at clumsy Kamala Harris’s level of “intelligence.”
He also mocked Biden’s age and lack of energy in the process.
“I’m not saying that this is accurate, but I can read a poll, and the American people have concluded that President Biden is old, and he needs soup and an early bedtime.
“They have concluded that Vice President Harris is not capable — that when her IQ gets to 75, she should sell. Again, I’m not saying that’s fair or accurate, but that’s the conclusion today that the American people have reached. They’re pretty disgusted.”
A speeding $300K Bentley crashed in flames on the bridge linking New York state and Ontario at Niagara Falls on Wednesday, killing two people in the vehicle and sparking a security scare that closed four U.S.-Canadian border crossings and New York’s Buffalo International Airport.
Hours later federal and state authorities said investigators had found no evidence of an act of terror, though circumstances surrounding the crash on the Rainbow Bridge remained murky, leaving it to be determined whether it was accidental or intentional.
“A search of the scene revealed no explosive materials, and no terrorism nexus was identified. The matter has been turned over to the Niagara Falls Police Department as traffic investigation,” the FBI said.
