In what has to one of the biggest examples of hypocrisy in the history of the planet, NYC’s Mayor Adams is suing the bus companies who brought the illegal aliens to NYC that Adams told the world were welcome there. Did Adams confer with disgraced former President Claudine Gay before he filed such a suit?
Isn’t the concept of a sanctuary city to provide refuge for needy persons from out of state? So, if this is true, don’t the “Sanctuary City” laws passed by New York supersede the basis of Adams’ lawsuit, some law from the 19th century? Aren’t the bus companies just transporting paid fares under agreement with the State of Texas? Is this state interference with interstate travel?
New York City got what they voted for. Adams has delivered what he promised to achieve. And now it’s a problem? There’s that lack of critical thinking, again. Here’s an idea: Send the bill to Mexico and see how that works out.
Democrats are so predictable, hollow, gutless, incompetent, incoherent, who wallow in the avoidance of responsibility for their actions. Pay up, NYC, you asked for it, now you got it. Asking anyone else to fund this nonsense is an abdication of responsibility. Choke on it. You deserve it.
I hope this suit sees a quick demise although I understand that the New York State system is very woke. It would be great if the courts found the suit frivolous which it is and required NYC to re-imburse the bus companies for their legal expenses.
I have one last thought on this lunacy. Give the new arrivals a nice meal and then ship them to Martha’s Vineyard. I understand that the residents there wholeheartedly support the invasion across our southern border.
