Is NY AG Latisha James’s case against PDJT a fraud on the court? As we wind down toward the inevitable end of the case in the NY courts, it is probably a good idea to begin to broadcast that the AG’s case was a fraud. It was done for one reason and one reason only, politics.
Everything about the case in New York City against the Trump Organization business operations is ridiculous. There are no victims. There was no fraud. All of the lenders did their own due diligence. All of the loans were paid back without issue, and the statement of financial condition was factual and accurate. There were no defaults or banking interests adversely impacted. There are no victims of what the State calls “fraud.”
This is demonic propaganda. This is malicious lawfare in the extreme. This is a kangaroo court where the judge, before the trial had even started, had decided that Trump was guilty. The judge tried to shut down the business operations of the Trump Organization at the beginning.
New York Attorney General Latisha James campaigned for office with promises to get Trump himself. The statute being used as the predicate for the case is a consumer fraud statute, intended to protect borrowers from predatory lenders. Trump is the borrower, and the banks were the lenders. New York is flipping the statute to claim the borrower defrauded the lenders, despite the lenders denying there was any fraud and there was no harm.
Appearing on CNN, O’Leary Ventures Chairman Kevin O’Leary outlines, to Laura Coates, why Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial in New York is political nonsense.
Some people want to claim that the state lost money on taxes because the asset may have been valued lower for tax purposes. That’s BS. The value of any asset is not unilaterally determined by the owner of such asset. The state will come up with a valuation. If there is disagreement, negotiations will take place. In some cases, the courts may step in to make a determination. There is nothing illegal or nefarious in this.
For anyone to think this is a legitimate prosecution, orchestrated by the most obviously abhorrent people in the world, is beyond the pale. However, the Democrats depend on their base lapping up as gospel whatever they put out there.
Trump should sue for malicious prosecution when it’s all over.
And I see he agrees.
President Trump: “I think it’s a shame. She should be criminally liable for this. She did this Exxon and they drove Exxon out of New York. Exxon paid billions of dollars of taxes. They’re now living in Texas. Exxon is very happy in Texas. Other companies, because of what is happening here, are going to be moving out of New York. This is an out of control Attorney General. She’s totally out of control. Those loans were all good. The banks were extremely happy with me. They still are. We built a great company. A company that is very liquid, very strong, with great assets. And she sued me because she wanted the publicity to run for office. And they found nothing wrong. Anybody who is being fair about it, and I’m not sure you can even hear me because they don’t allow microphones over here which is ridiculous, but if anybody is fair about this, they see this case should have never been brought and I think we should be entitled to damages.”
