Right now, the State Department does not want any American traveling to Russia. Why? Some would say that there is a danger such travelers would be arrested and used as bargaining chips. Such a scenario is not out of the question.
However, the real reason, the non-pretending reason, is because people will tell about their experience in Russia. This story will run completely counter to the acceptable narrative of our “intelligence experts” who force feed the public a propaganda piece that suits their purposes.
