Censorship is a dirty word that those in power want the public to ignore. America was founded on the idea of a free and raucous exchange of ideas however they may emerge so long as violence is not the end product.
Our national security state would espouse that such a free exchange of ideas is a national security threat. According to those in power, one cannot allow “extremist ideas” to propagate across the country and around the world. Such “extremist ideas” could undermine those in power and become a “threat to democracy.” Of course, such “extremist ideas” are any ideas that do not align with the prevailing ideology of those in power.
Tucker Carlson has done an interview with Mike Benz. Benz discusses the reality of what systems and tech architecture are in place right now to censor the viewpoints of everyday Americans. It is a big picture look at who wants control over the Internet and its dissemination of information.
Mike Benz, the driving force behind the Foundation for Freedom Online, stands out prominently in discussions regarding the intricate relationship between internet freedom and political maneuvering. This interview lasts an hour. Tucker Carlson allows Benz to speak and make his case without an unseemly number of interruptions.
The short story here is that the national security state is the main driver of mass censorship AND election interference in this country.
