A Deep State Move?

Thomas Massie (R-KY) recently indicated that he would support Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (MTG) efforts to remove Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House.  The formal backing of MTG’s Motion To Vacate by Massie is not there yet but the public pressure that this announcement brings is not insignificant.  Let’s be reminded that the Republicans hold a very slim one vote majority with the recent resignations of several Republican House members.

Republicans across the conference, including some members of the Freedom Caucus, quickly pushed back on the idea of booting Johnson, noting it would spark chaos without a clear successor — a repeat of the House’s nightmare in October.

The resignations appear to be such as to create the situation that exists today., that is, a one vote majority.  One representative could have resigned a few days earlier than the April 19th date and a special election would have been held.  Since the district is heavily Republican, the expected outcome would be a Republican seat.  However, the rep, Mike Gallagher of Wisconsin, refused to do so and has placed control of the House in jeopardy by doing so.

Gallagher’s resignation is highly unusual since he is a committee chairman.  His stated reasons were to spend more time with his young family.  Supposedly Gallagher worked closely with GOP leaders on the timing of his announcement.  I have to wonder just who those GOP leaders were.  The timing makes no sense if Gallagher is working with the GOP leadership.

Is there something else at work here?

Sundance notes the following:

When the U.S. Supreme Court reinstituted Donald Trump on the federal election ballots of the five leftist states who removed him, the high court noted that disqualifying a person from presidential office could only be done by congress, not by the individual states.

If the Democrats take control of the House, disqualifying Donald Trump from federal office will be the purpose of their first legislative act.  They already hold the Senate.   They will do this.  Thomas Massie knows this.

So, ask yourself, who exactly is controlling the action of Thomas Massie; remember, he’s the former endorser of Ron DeSantis on behalf of the Sea Island multinationals (banks).  Does the question answer itself?

Accept things as they are, not as you would prefer them to be.

When we *think* we have found the bottom of the corrupt and conniving state within the DC system… Pause, have a nice cup of coffee, then remind ourselves we’ll never find the bottom of this level of corruption; it’s ‘effen bottomless.

Now I am not saying I agree with Sundance.  However, Sundance raises an interesting point.  The retirements/resignations in the Republican caucus are odd.  Just how much control does the intelligence community have over the legislative branch?  Let’s be reminded of Senator Schumer’s statement:

“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” Schumer told MSNBC’s host Rachel Maddow.

I am reminded of a scene from the Godfather series where a Senator is found in bed with a dead prostitute.  Michael Corleone’s people take care of the situation.  The Senator is forever “grateful.”

Just what does the intelligence community have on Tom Massie…Mike Johnson…others?  Just how can The People regain control of our government?
