The Department of State (DOS) and the Intelligence Community (IC) have determined that Biden must go. The Deep State sees the upcoming election as a make-or-break-it event. This has little to do with Biden’s dementia, Parkinson’s, etc.
The question, of course, is why does Biden have to go? What compelling reason exists that would cause the DOS and the IC to wage war against Biden particularly while a NATO meeting is going on in Washington?
And make no mistake about it. Biden is in the middle of a war. Joe Biden may or may not be fully cognizant of this. However, Hunter and Jill Biden are. Probably for the first time in her life, Jill Biden matters. And she will not go down without a fight (or the right price).
What is causing this consternation among the DOS and the IC? What is the background/motive for our DOS and IC to launch a full blown assault on the President? Remember this is the person that they stole the 2020 election for.

The IC and Dept of State cannot have Donald Trump take control of their operation, especially since the recent Supreme Court ruling that affirmed a majority opinion using strong language consistent with the Unitary Executive theory of the Constitution.
The Supreme Court said, the President is “a person alone who comprises a branch of government.” [pdf, page 38] In essence, the president *IS* the Executive Branch, and all of the other various bureaucratic agents and agencies within it are under his unilateral “official act” control.
From my perspective, research and years of being in/around the silos which make up the intelligence apparatus, this Supreme Court ruling is THE MOTIVE behind their urgency to get rid of Joe Biden; not, I repeat NOT, the underlying dementia and cognitive incapacity of their president.
Let’s be reminded that SCOTUS said that no one can criminalize acts of the President that are within the core functions of the office. It also said that the Executive branch is embodied in one person, the President. This means that the President can deconstruct the IC as he sees fit.
The IC is looking at a complete revamping or deconstruction if Trump wins. Sundance notes:

The IC is looking at a future where they are no longer running the country as unelected despots. To what limits will they go to stay in power? Are there any limits? America lost a President to a hail of bullets sixty years ago.
Let’s remember what SCOTUS is saying. Congress may not criminalize the conduct of the President simply for carrying out his core executive branch duties. Let’s also remember that we arrived here courtesy of the Lawfare activities of the Deep State.
Removal of Executive Branch officials is a core duty, an official act, carrying absolute immunity.
That newly affirmed reality is exactly why the Intelligence Community and the Lawfare crowd are very alarmed.
This has created a category 5 s**tstorm for the Democrats.
