The tragedy in New Orleans that resulted in the death of 15 people and injuries to dozens more was initially reported to the world by the New Orleans police. When making the initial report, we were told that this appeared to be a terrorism event and that the NOPD were looking at 4 to 5 additional individuals who may have been involved in the planning and execution of this heinous act.
Then the FBI took over. Shamsud-Din Jabbar was the 42-year-old Texas man identified as crashing a truck into New Year’s Day revelers in New Orleans. Jabbar was fatally shot by police after he opened fire after exiting the vehicle he had rented.
According to special FBI agent Alethea Duncan, “This is not a terrorism event.”
Hold up.
An FBI Agent with a nose ring who can barely speak coherent English sentences told the media that a terrorist driving a truck with an ISIS flag killing 10 Americans is NOT a terrorist attack!?!
Seriously. listen to this

This statement came after Jabbar had been identified as being a radicalized Muslim and a member of ISIS. The agent was referring to two IED devices that were recovered in the French Quarter after the attack.
Within 24 hours of this statement, the FBI said that Jabbar acted alone.
FBI Deputy Assistant Director Christopher Raia:
“But at this point, and this is another fact I want to be clear on, we do not assess that anyone else is involved in this attack except for Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the subject you’ve already been briefed on.”
How did the FBI within the span of 24 hours determine that Jabbar was another “lone wolf” actor? Was Jabbar on the FBI’s radar as so many previous mass casualty events have shown? Was this statement about Jabbar acting alone designed to absolve the FBI from any responsibility for failing to stop this event? Why does the NOPD still believe that 4-5 others were involved? Why is the FBI the only official source for info on this event? Doesn’t the FBI have enough of a credibility problem already? Is the press coverage being supplied by the FBI designed to minimize the connection to ISIS?
Let’s contrast this coverage with the coverage of the Las Vegas event. Here the Las Vegas PD has been front and center on the info being released. The FBI, while assisting in the investigation, has taken a back seat when it comes to dealing with the press. Why is this?
The perpetrator of this event, Matthew Livelsberger,an active duty Armey soldier, home on leave from Germany, apparently killed himself right before the truck exploded. Livelsberger was a supporter of President-elect Donald Trump, seeing him as someone who loves the military, the relative told Reuters. “He thought Trump was the greatest thing in the world.”
Liveslberger left a manifesto which has been released to the world. Let’s note how quickly this manifesto has been released. Compare this to the length of time it took for the Nashville loonie to have her writings released. Why the difference?
Could it be as simple as the false narrative to “fear all military, active duty or former, as they all suffer with PTSD, and are walking time bombs, ready to go off at any moment, and they like guns, and know all about blowing stuff up?”
The FBI has long been running the story that domestic terrorism is the biggest threat to this country. Is the handling of the Las Vegas event designed to shape that continuing narrative?
There are too many questions that need transparency in these two events. Unfortunately with the bias of the media and the ulterior motives of those in our weaponized federal government, we may never know the truth.
