A Virginia high school runner who whacked an opponent over the head with her relay baton has held a rally for her “supporters.”   Alaila Everett has maintained she is innocent of the thing that everyone has seen her do.  According to Everett, she just lost her balance.

Since the incident, Everett has claimed that she is the victim here.  And the local chapter of the NAACP has decided to back her.  One has to wonder about the cognitive abilities of those who made that decision.

Everett has been charged with assault.

The government has figured out how to bring down the cost of eggs.

The plan is simplicity itself.  Stop killing egg-laying hens.  Some 150 million hens have been culled because of avian flu.

Democrats continue to lose their minds over what the Republicans are doing.  Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Thursday night called Republicans “bastards” live on air during an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.

The Communists Democrats are used to the Republicans caving into whatever the Democrats wanted.  When Schumer says that the Republicans are ruining democracy, he means that the Democrats can no longer count on Republicans surrendering to whatever the Democrats want.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, a radical federal judge, James Boasberg, moved to block Trump’s efforts to secure the border and deport dangerous transnational gang members.

On Saturday, Chief District Court Judge James Boasberg, an Obama-appointee, granted a temporary restraining order (TRO) to stop the Trump administration from deporting thousands of Venezuelan nationals under the Alien Enemies Act.  This included demanding that planes already in the air turn back mid-flight.

Of course, a federal judge has no jurisdiction over planes that are in international airspace.  President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele mocked Boasberg after two flights from the U.S. carrying nearly between 250 and 300 Venezuelan and other gang members landed in El Salvador.

“Oopsie, too late” was Bukele’s response to Boasberg’s order.

Former EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy said, “It seems that there’s now a change in mission of [the] EPA, according to the administrator, that is really shifting us to a golden age of pollution.”

McCarthy gives no examples of how deregulation that has been proposed would have a negative impact on the environment.  It’s just bad because the Trump administration is doing it.  McCarthy appears to worship at the altar of climate change and its potential to cause the earth to become uninhabitable.

McCarthy talks about making the environment better for everyone.  I wonder how the people along the Animas River feel about that.  McCarthy was in charge when the agency dumped 3 million gallons of toxic waste into the river a decade ago.  This came about despite warnings from hydrological engineers that what the agency was doing was highly risky.

Today the heavy metals from that disaster are still embedded in the river bottom.  This has an adverse effect on river life.
