Andrea Widburg has written a post which, although I am not sure she realized it, contains an insanely funny video. Widburg presents an interview done by Brandon Straka of two white women who are presented with a situation where they must reconcile two diametrically opposing facts.
Widburg:
One of the virtues of being a mentally healthy person in an honest society is that you don’t have to deal with cognitive dissonance. That is, there are no moments when you are forced to accept two entirely conflicting facts or values. Instead, you have the mental freedom to work through the conflict and come out with an honest evaluation.
When people lack that honesty and liberty, the only refuge is delusions and heartfelt lies to themselves. That shows up in a very funny video from February that’s starting to gain deserved traction.
…
Sometimes, though, reality forces itself on both true believers and doublethinkers. At that moment, you can see the brains stutter to a halt, as if a grain of sand got caught in the gears. That’s exactly what happened when Brandon Straka confronted two hardcore leftist women who were proudly trumpeting their white support for black women’s wisdom with the reality that many black women support Trump.
“Should we trust black women who voted for Trump?”
Watch the brains of 2 white liberal Women’s March Karens short circuit right before your eyes.

People like this have no concept of what it means to grow up black in the ghetto, or Hispanic in West Texas, or white in Appalachia for that matter. However, they are willing to show the world just how virtuous they are. This is what is behind the embedded racism of comments like “We can’t have photo ID voting because minorities have problems getting a photo ID.”
Of course, this virtue signaling does not extend to Appalachia. This is why so many of them tried to pretend that FEMA was doing its job in the North Carolina mountains after Hurricane Helene destroyed the area. According to these people the residents were just too stupid to know where to get help. There were many comments on social media to that effect. This ignored the fact that many isolated communities did not see a FEMA representative for months after the disaster. The only relief they got was from private individuals who ferried aid in at their own expense.
Hopefully a pearl of wisdom might possibly grow in the minds of these people. Lord knows the country would certainly benefit from such an event.
