The doom-and-gloom media outlets have been denigrating the Trump administration because supposedly there was not an instant reduction in inflation. The hysteria has been amped up since the announcement of tariffs on all countries around the world.
Of course, none of this hysteria was present when the Biden administration allowed inflation to reach 9% during his administration. Such inflation was crippling family budgets and causing more people to live from paycheck to paycheck.
The official government statistics on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for February show that inflation is coming down. It dropped from 3.0% in January to 2.8% in February. This is well below the numbers for most of the Biden administration.
The lower numbers near the end of the Biden administration were influenced by the selling off of major portions of the strategic Petroleum Reserves.
The Truflation Index, which is a more accurate reading of economic indicators, has inflation at 1.46%.
Another court win for PDJT. A federal appeals court on Monday allowed Elon Musk’s DOGE team to access sensitive information.
US District Judge Deborah Boardman, a Biden appointee previously issued a TRO blocking the Department of Education and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) from sharing data with DOGE.
According to the AP, Judge G. Steven Agee, a George W. Bush appointee, blasted Judge Boardman and said she misread the legal precedent “requiring nothing more than abstract access to personal information to establish a concrete injury.”
Not surprising. So many of these district court judges appointed during the Biden administration seem to lack a good understanding of the law.
Where are the Democrats in condemning political violence? It is not happening. The closest one gets to such an act is someone on the Left who says that violence is not appropriate but then goes on to excuse such violence.
The Democrats are trying to foment a civil war. Recent polls have identified that a majority of leftists believe a successful assassination against Donald Trump would be justified. In some ways this is not surprising since approximately 40% of young people believe the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson by 26-year-old Luigi Mangione was justified.
Where is the media on this? Where is the wall-to-wall coverage of this insanity?
Here is another example of the “tolerant” left when a journalist approaches them during anti-Trump protests in Salt Lake City over the weekend. The journalist, Nick Shirley, gets harassed and assaulted.
This kind of crap happened for an hour straight while Nick was at the protest, even after he reported the abuse to the police. The guy above disappeared (I guess he did not want to be arrested), but there were plenty of other cognitively impaired libs there who would simply not stop harassing Nick.
This is the crux of the problem with the left. They have no factual basis to debate people and therefore fall back on emotionally driven attacks. The left is even uncomfortable with someone is asking questions about why they are at such an event.
