Kilmar Abrego Garcia

If this is a name that sounds familiar to you, it is because of the incessant droning on and on about how this illegal alien who was a member of MS-13 was deported.  Democratic Senators and House members have been crying about the “abduction” of Garcia casting Garcia as a “Maryland man” and devoted father of American citizens.  The media has been at the forefront of claiming that Garcia should never have been even considered for deportation.

So, what are the facts?  One can rest assured that Big Media will never admit to these facts since it would destroy what little credibility they have left.

Let’s be reminded that Garcia is not a US citizen.  Garcia is a citizen of El Salvador where he is currently in prison.  Two different US judges have ruled that he is a member of MS-13.  Garcia held the rank “Chequeo” and the street name “Chele” within the vicious criminal organization, newly released documents revealed.

Garcia received due process from immigration judges.  They ruled that he should be deported.  At the last moment in 2019, a temporary stay was granted because Garcia claimed he was at risk of gang violence from other gangs on El Salvador.

A temporary stay of deportation is just that temporary.  Has anything changed since Kilmer Garcia was granted a stay?

In 2019 El Salvador was suffering from rampant crime and violence.  Vigilante justice was the only thing preventing the country from sliding into oblivion.  Then President Bukele was elected on a strong anti-crime platform.  Bukele has transformed El Salvador from a lawless wasteland into one of the safer countries in the world.

Has Garcia been a model citizen since his temporary stay was granted?   it turns out that Abrego Garcia’s wife, per court documents, filed for an order of protection against him for domestic violence in 2021, showing that the individual is apparently not the upstanding Maryland Father of the Year Democrats make him out to be.

According to The Chesapeake Today, “Jennifer Vasquez filed for a protective order due to domestic violence from her husband on May 13, 2021, and a final order was issued on June 17, 2021, by Prince George’s County District Court Judge LaKeecia Allen.

According to the 2021 protective order against Garcia, the court found that he “punched and scratched” and “ripped off the shirt, grabbed, and bruised” Vasquez.  It is not clear if she actually was his wife.

It has now surfaced that a second protective order against Garcia was entered in August 2020.

Of course, Garcia is a hero to those on the Left.  This is not surprising since the Left believe that it is okay for men to enter women’s sports and beat up on them as we saw in the Olympics.  The number of women and girls who have seriously injured because the Left believes this is uncountable.  New stories about the unfairness and dangers erupt every week.

Has anything else changed?  MS-13 has been designated as a foreign terrorist organization.  Here’s Pam Bondi’s take on this:

“He is an illegal alien who has been living illegally in our country from El Salvador. ICE testified, and an immigration judge ruled, he was a member of MS-13. An appellate judge ruled he was a member of MS-13. Hard stop,” Bondi said. “He should not be in our country.”

“He was deported. They needed one additional step in paperwork, but now, MS-13 is characterized as they should be as an FTO, as a foreign terrorist organization,” the attorney general said. “He would have come back, had one extra step of paperwork and gone back again.”

Let’s be reminded just who MS-13 is.  They are human traffickers, murderers, rapists.  They kill Americans for sport.  It is well known among police circles that MS-13 initiations often involve the torture, mutilation and murder of innocents.

Patty Morin, the mother of Rachel Morin, told the story of the brutal slaying of her daughter.

This is just heartbreaking.  This was done by a member of MS-13.  There are thousands of such people in the Maryland, Virginia, DC area.

These are the people whom the Democrats think should be free to roam our streets.  Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) went to El Salvador to speak with deported MS-13 gang member, Kilmar Garcia, and bring him back to the USA.  His intention was to speak with President Bukele.

According to Van Hollen, Garcia is “a man who is charged with no crime, convicted of no crime and was illegally abducted from the United States.”  Apparently the erudite Senator from Maryland does not believe that entering the country illegally is a crime.  Garcia was convicted in immigration court.

There is also the two protective orders that were issued by American judges.  Isn’t domestic violence a crime?

How did this trip work out?  Van Hollen got to speak with the Salvadoran Vice President.  Essentially Van Hollen was told that he needed to ask PDJT if he could speak with President Bukele.  LOL.

Perhaps the one good thing that came out of Van Hollen’s trip is that most likely no other Democrat will venture to El Salvador.  Van Hollen has been exposed as loving MS-13.  He also apparently relates to men who beat their wives.  And, of course, he showed no sympathy to Patty Morin when her daughter was brutally murdered.

From Patty Morin:

“And to have a senator from Maryland who didn’t even acknowledge or barely acknowledge my daughter and the brutal death that she endured, leaving her five children without a mother and now a grandbaby without a grandmother, so he can use my taxpayer money to fly to El Salvador to bring back someone that’s not even an American citizen. Why does that person have more right than I do? Or my daughter? Or my grandchildren? I — I don’t understand this.”

The other positive is that Judge Xinis was slapped down by the Supreme Court after she demanded that the administration effectuate the return of Garcia to this country.  Xinis seemed to have ignored the fact that Garcia is not a US citizen but rather a citizen of El Salvador.  As such, she had no power to make such a demand.  President Bukele laughed heartily when informed of her hubris.

What will be the outcome of this debacle?  At this point, after the stunt by Van Hollen backfired so spectacularly, I think the Democrats may want this story to disappear from the media.  We will know that this is the case if Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), the long winded one, cancels his planned trip to El Salvador.
