I have a son who spent 24+ years in our military. One of the things that he made clear to me during that time was that there always was a chain of command. If one had a problem, one took it up the chain of command. One did not go outside that no matter how much one may have disagreed with the nature of what was going on.
It is a rock-solid fact that our military has civilian leadership. The president is the commander-in-chief. One carries out the mission so long as the orders are lawful. One does not denigrate that leadership as some have found out to their dismay. Another individual is finding out that fact.
The O’Keefe Media Group on Wednesday released undercover video of a Defense Department Branch Chief attacking President Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
Nicolas Turza, a Department of Defense Branch Chief, called President Trump “illegitimate” and vowed to “resist him, everything he does.”
Turza also attacked Hegseth and said the 44-year-old is “insanely young” and unfit to lead.

I suspect this will not end well for Nicolas Turza. Unfortunately Turza represents a group of people within our military leadership who believe that they are not accountable to anyone above them if they themselves do not agree in the direction things are headed.
Pete Hegseth needs to root out the insubordinate, the disloyal and the free range individuals who believe they know better than their superiors. For Mr.Turza, I think it may be time for him to update his resume.

What would happen to me If I decided that I was not going officiate my basketball games correctly because i think the rules were ridiculous and I didn’t like them. I know the answer to that! my point is, when you work for someone, there are rules to follow and a strategy or vision the company has. If you don’t follow the rules or have the same vision, your work reflects that, and you will be out of a job. If Mr. Turza is fired today I will be very unhappy. He does not deserve to be in the position he is in.
I wonder if he was paid by a political party to do this or promised something for it. Why else would you do something so stupid!
