Why Now?

As most people know by now, it has been announced that Joe Biden has metastatic prostate cancer that has spread to his bones.

Via CNN:

From Biden’s personal office:

“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.”

All Presidents get regular and frequent physical checkups.  A PSA test is a routine part of such checkups.  The number does not jump to 8 or 9 between such frequent checkups.  With that in mind, this diagnosis probably has been what it is for some time.

BTW if Biden actually received multiple doses of the mRNA vaccine, is this a result of that?  A study in Japan showed that prostate cancer mortality had quickly become one of the top five most common causes of cancer death following a third dose of mRNA ‘vaccines.’

But, the real question here is “Why now?”  Why announce this now?  It couldn’t have anything to do with the release of the audio tapes of his interviews with Special Counsel Robert Hur over the possession of classified documents in his garage, could it?

Hur recommended that Biden should not be criminally charged because Hur described Biden as “a sympathetic, well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory.”  Based on the audio tapes, Hur was being very generous in his description of Biden’s faculties.

These audio tapes cast a serious shadow over the entire Biden presidency.  Is this announcement an attempt to generate sympathy for the former President and to deflect the public’s attention from the disaster that was the Biden presidency?  I think VP JD Vance’s response is right on point.

“Whether the right time to have this conversation is now or at some point in the future, we really do need to be honest about whether the former president was capable of doing the job.

“You can separate the desire for him to have the right health outcome with a recognition that, whether it was doctors or whether there were staffers around the former president, I don’t think he was able to do a good job for the American people.

“Why didn’t the American people have more accurate information about what he was actually dealing with? This is serious stuff.  This the guy who carries around the nuclear football for the world’s largest nuclear arsenal — this is not child’s play. And we can pray for good health but also recognize that if you’re not in good enough health to do the job, you shouldn’t be doing the job.”

Let’s review the disaster that was the Biden presidency.

The Deep State took a career politician with dementia and now most likely cancer, staged riots to allow for his mathematically improbable election.  Next, they arrested anyone who raised objections to his election.  These arrests were designed to silence any and all speech about the steal.  Then, they sanctioned an invasion of this country to allow them to commit election fraud like has never been seen in this country.  The weaponization of the justice system was next to prevent PDJT from running in and/or winning the 2024 election.  This weaponization extended to characterizing anyone who supported the MAGA agenda as a domestic extremist/terrorist.

This is just a short list.  But this is what the country should focus on not the fact that Biden has cancer.
