Mount Rushmore

Just what is happening in the Middle East?  The elimination of Iran as a nuclear threat has opened up a window for stability in the region that has not existed for a long time.  And PDJT, the ultimate deal maker, along with Steve Witkoff, special Presidential Envoy, appear to be moving swiftly ahead to expand the Abraham Peace Accords and help improve economic prosperity in the region.

According to multiple sources, a four-way telephone conversation between United States President Donald Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer occurred immediately after the American assault on Iran’s nuclear installations. The result is an attempt to swiftly pursue peace negotiations that would expand the Abraham Accords .

According to Israel Hayom, the following consensus was reached:

  1. Gaza hostilities will conclude within two weeks, ending conditions will encompass four Arab nations (including Egypt and the United Arab Emirates) to administer the Gaza Strip, replacing the murderous Hamas terrorist organization.

  2. The remaining Hamas leadership will face exile to other countries (Qatar & Turkey?), while the hostages gain freedom.

  3. Multiple nations globally will accept numerous Gaza inhabitants seeking emigration.

  4. Abraham Accords expansion will bring Syria, Saudi Arabia, and additional Arab and Muslim countries to recognize Israel and establish official relationships.

  5. Israel will declare its willingness for future Palestinian conflict resolution under the “two states” concept, contingent upon the Palestinian Authority reforms.

  6. The United States will acknowledge limited Israeli sovereignty implementation in Judea and Samaria.

Sundance notes:

Saudi Arabia was previously on the cusp of signing up to the Abraham Accords, but retreated from the agreement when the Israeli-Hamas war erupted within Gaza.  It would not be surprising to see them come back to that agreement with President Trump’s guidance and request.

If we think about the status of Syria, we can clearly see how President Trump has enticed the new Syrian government led by Ahmed al-Sharaa to the peace table based on economic benefits (sanctions removed).  In fact there are large billboards all over Tel Aviv thanking President Trump for his efforts in the embattled nation. It is rather remarkable.

All of this and other news indicates that a true path to peace may be possible in the Middle East.  This would open the door to economic prosperity that would benefit all countries there.  It is stunning to see what PDJT has managed to accomplish in a few months.

Complicated solutions worked out for complicated problems.

This is only possible because Trump defanged Iran; Israel reduced Iran’s military capabilities significantly; Israel decimated Hezbollah; and the US and Israel never let up on Hamas.

Hamas now has no viable supporters. This makes it possible for some of Israel’s Muslim neighbors to avoid “looking bad” with fellow Muslim entities when they agree to things in Gaza that are designed to eliminate Hamas control there.  No one wants terrorists in their neighborhood.

If Trump can pull this off, they need to make room for him on Mount Rushmore.
