The Democrats must believe that they have convinced the country that only they are truly capable of ruling this country and that any rights that citizens have come from the government and are not inalienable from God. The Democrats continue to undermine all religions but especially Christianity.
This was clearly the case during the aftermath of the school shooting in Minneapolis where Democratic leaders like Mayor Frey painted transgenders as victims after school children had been killed and maimed. Particular daggers were out for the Catholic Church as being transphobic whatever that term means these days.
The Democrats have dropped all pretenses. Last week Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) came out and basically trashed the Declaration of Independence and the very founding principle of America.
Can Kaine be that stupid? This man has been at the upper echelons of the political world for a long time. Kaine was Lt. Governor and Governor of Virginia, the home of the Declaration’s author, Thomas Jefferson. He ran for Vice President on Hillary Clinton’s ticket. Another fateful bullet avoided when PDJT won in 2016.
Kaine didn’t commit a gaffe. He didn’t accidently say what he really believes. He said what the Democrat Party believes and no longer tries to hide. In so doing, Kaine has given Americans another glimpse into what the Democrats intend for America. Kaine wants an America without the restraints of the Constitution and without reliance on God. This is a violation of his oath of office. Kaine actually pledged to defend a constitutional system that is founded on the idea that our rights exist prior to government.
Kaine’s outburst shows how progressives have an allergy to God in any context other than a personal one. And that personal connection is not allowed to be seen in the public marketplace. Once they banish Christianity from the public sphere, then the dismantling of the rest of the Bill of Rights can be accomplished.
This is the ultimate goal of the Democrats, that being to have all rights and privileges devolve from the government. Then they can be taken away by the government since they would not be inalienable.
