To recap previous discussions, tens of thousands of people on the Left actually celebrated the horrific murder of Charlie Kirk in front of his family. Many tens of thousands more liked and shared such messages on social media. This sadistic glee by so many has probably never before been seen in this country and perhaps anywhere in the world. Clearly Satan has gained many followers in this country.
Charlie Kirk represented the way that political dialogue should take place. Charlie was respectful and attempted to use facts to allow reality to gain a foothold in the minds and hearts of the younger generation. When given the opportunity to do so, many among our younger generations are quite capable of thinking for themselves and some of them saw the light.
There are many issues where there are significant differences in ideology. One such issue is the “trans” issue. As we have previously seen, the difference here is irreconcilable. One side wants the “right” to mutilate children over an “illness” that has no biological markers. The other side wants to protect children from such abuse.
Is there a political solution to this impasse?
Kevin Dolan:
And to argue that Charlie Kirk was just about dialogue is to misrepresent his work.
I didn’t know Charlie personally, but I am sure that he would have loved to persuade every single person he spoke to — to help people unravel difficult problems together, and come to a peaceful accord.
But he was also one of the most effective political organizers of our time, because he did not pursue “dialogue” in the sense that Spencer Cox and the “cuckservative” GOP do: he was not trying to build a world in which Christian families and Satanist child mutilators join hands. He did not demand that necessary action be delayed until every single academic Marxist and schizophrenic Discord troon was persuaded of its necessity.
Endless “dialogue” of this kind serves only to prolong the conflict to the enemy’s benefit: handing them half of what they want now, so they can come back for the rest when we’re no longer capable of resisting.
Charlie spoke about the need for political solutions to avoid civil war — but a political solution that included compromise with these forces was obviously off the table. In fact, he argued that many such compromises from earlier generations had weakened the nation, and would have to be rolled back.
The purpose of Charlie’s rhetoric was to persuade the persuadable from the politically relevant center, and to give the mainstream Right the moral confidence to demand action — thereby achieving political outcomes which could be imposed upon the incorrigible leftist holdouts, in an orderly and lawful and broadly acceptable way.
And that is why they shot him.
This is the extent of the debate. Some very blue states have moved legislation that accuses the parents of abuse if they do not recognize their children’s “right” to be trans. The parents who should be the ultimate guardians and educators of their children are now criminals if they oppose transitioning a child. Some states have even passed legislation that prohibits therapists from working to “de-transition” someone.
Charlie Kirk was succeeding in undermining the emotional platforms that buttressed this idiocy. And this was true of many other “cherished” positions of the Left. The epithets of racism and white supremacy that caused good people to cower in the past just do not have the power they once had. Nazism is another worn out epithet.
These epithets were effective during the Obama administration in protecting his proposals from serious fact-checking. Obamacare is one such albatross that was hung around the necks of everyday Americans without serious review.
The latest effort by these people is to characterize people like Charlie as “un-American.” Why? Because he wouldn’t compromise his position. Jon Bernthal said, “The inability to move off of your opinion, that is being confused with patriotism and strength and masculinity, to say ‘it’s my way or the highway’… For me, that’s the most un-American thing in the world”
Calling someone un-American is being used to shame conservatives into backing away from defending the foundational values that our country was built on. The Left wants to continue the “dialogue” until the Right gets exhausted and gives up.

Kevin Dolan:
To imply that Charlie Kirk believed in an endless collegial dialogue with the radical left — that he did nothing to provoke leftist rage — is to deny his courage: he wanted to confront and defeat the forces that threatened his family, his country, and human civilization….
Because leftism is a set of obvious lies and absurdities, leftists have to shatter people psychologically in order to rule them. Mao and Stalin had to terrorize their people into epistemic exhaustion and collapse, so that they could be made to confess, with feeling, that two and two made five. For us, the question is whether a man is a woman, if the Party says he is….
Every leftist leader since Robespierre has recognized how much they depend on the spiteful, the warped, the stunted, and the insane — because that’s who is willing to join a fanatical crusade against reality.
Coming back to the trans issue, society should never rationalize or explain how the “trans” person was a victim after he/she has engaged in some horrendous act. It is okay to bring up that if a person is taking dangerous levels of hormonal drugs, testosterone, estrogen, if they’re engaged in very powerful antidepressant, which often accompanies that, if they’ve had very serious medical procedures, these things can promote, enhance, accelerate mental disturbance, and we have to be very careful about it.
However, when people act out in violence, that must be condemned. Such acts cannot be deterred if they are not condemned. And the fact that someone is trans does not excuse the act.
Victor Davis Hanson:
The same thing about homelessness. As soon as Iryna Zarutska was killed, the mayor of Charlotte, Vi Lyles, the first thing she said was: We don’t want to demonize the homeless. That was Decarlos Brown Jr. who murdered her.
And the same thing was true with Rashad Dabney. He murdered Julie Schnuelle, a retired Auburn professor of veterinary medicine. And he was homeless. They had another thing in common. Decarlos Brown had committed 14 felonies and he was out. Mr. Rashad Dabney should have been in jail for five to 10 years. He is charged with a felony and had recently been dropped, and he scot-free.
Excusing these behaviors because the perpetrator was trans, homeless or any other of a long list of excuses is tantamount to saying that such behavior is okay. Evil is evil and needs to be punished.
Just how warped and insane does one have to be to demand the right to mutilate children suffering from gender dysphoria? Or to demand that illegal aliens who rape, murder, engage in sex and human trafficking be kept in this country and be allowed to roam the streets of our communities. How many Laken Rileys do we have to have before reality sets in?
