Zohran Mamdani ostensibly a Democrat, who is leading in the polls for the mayor of NYC, has definite plans for NYC and its residents. The Andrew Cuomo For Mayor campaign created a very good video via AI that highlights some of those plans and has as its theme “criminals for Mamdani.”
Because some of the AI criminals in the video are black, the campaign was instantly accused of racism and withdrew the video. Of course, the Internet is forever and someone was quick enough to download the video before it was withdrawn.
Here is the deleted video via X
Andrew Cuomo’s campaign just posted — and quickly deleted — this AI-generated ad depicting “criminals for Zohran Mamdani.”

This is a brilliant, hard-hitting, and entirely on-point video. It is a clear example of what Democrats intend to do across America. On the racial side, the reality is that minorities are underrepresented in the video. If anything, this video is racist against whites!
Mamdani’s politics and declared positions are accurately projected in this video. Mamdani is running on a platform that says that crimes are not really crimes. Mamdani also wants free grocery stores and rent control which are mainstays of the Communist world. He also wants to end the free lance economy in NYC. Everyone is equal in Mamdani’s world except, of course, those elites who govern it. And, of course, everyone suffers equally in Mamdani’s world except the political elites and their friends.
Let us be reminded that Mamdani has been endorsed by many of the biggest names in the Democratic Party. AOC and Bernie Sanders are in love with Mamdani. Hakeem Jeffries has endorsed Mamdani and Chuck Schumer, who is afraid of a primary challenge from AOC, is also supporting Mamdani. Some of these fawning supporters condemned the ad as racist. Former Mayor Bill de Blasio had this to say:
“This is disqualifying. No candidate who approves a racist, disgusting ad like this can be allowed to govern.”
Of course, de Blasio hates Cuomo so it is not surprising he jumped up to criticize an accurate ad against his favored candidate. And, although the Dems may not yet realize it, the charge of racism does not carry the impact it once did.
This ad may have had the shortest life of a political campaign ad in history. It was withdrawn almost immediately and some low-level staffer was blamed for allowing the world to see this “racist” ad. The NYPost:
Cuomo spokesperson Rich Azzopardi denied the video was an ad in a statement swiping back at the attacks.
“The video was a draft proposal that was neither finished nor approved, did not go through the normal legal process, and was inadvertently posted by a junior staffer — which is why it was taken down five minutes later.”
The Democrats Socialists are eating the Democratic Party alive. The DS people would love to implement Mamdani’s policies across the country. Pretty soon they can drop the pretense about democracy and openly admit that they are Communists.
What about the claim by the Cuomo campaign that the posting was an accident? Cuomo admitted that he did not do well in the June primary because he and his campaign did not do a good job on social media. Is this ad a peek inside the improved use of social media by Cuomo?
Most people now know that the Internet is forever. Did the campaign post the ad and then quickly withdraw it knowing that the ad would live on? This creates plausible deniability while the ad, if it is good and it is good, spreads across the Internet like wildfire.
Whoever created this ad is very good. It will be interesting to watch and see if another ad appears before election day.
