President Trump announced on Thanksgiving that Sarah Beckstrom passed away after the terrorist attack on Wednesday. Sarah Beckstrom is the 20-year-old West Virginia National Guard member who was critically wounded in an ambush-style shooting near the White House on Wednesday.
The other National Guard member, Andrew Wolfe, an Air Force Staff Sergeant, who was also ambushed is in critical condition and fighting for his life.
The suspect is 29-year-old Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who entered the country in 2021 as part of the Operation Allies Welcome program. The “Operation Allies Welcome” program followed the botched 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal. Little if any vetting was done with these people.
This shooting is the direct result of Democratic politicians constantly spewing forth with crap like all people who support Trump are Nazis. The “Trump is Hitler” chant is another form of this psychological conditioning. Calling ICE officers the Gestapo is a third example of this attempt by the Democrats to foment violence. People come to not only accept political violence but to applaud it. The assassination of Charlie Kirk was an example of this.
Democrats need to be made to understand that their words have real world consequences. This shooting is little removed from the Alexandria ball park shooting by another deranged individual who specifically came to that venue to kill Republican congress people because of Democratic rhetoric.
Lakanwal’s background is interesting. It appears that he was part of a CIA trained paramilitary unit in Afghanistan. What exactly was he doing while in Afghanistan? The CIA is not exactly known for following the rules of war. I knew someone who was a deep undercover operative for the CIA and his stories were shall we say “interesting.”
Here is what is known at this point in time.
- Lakanwal entered the U.S. on a Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) during Operation Allies Refuge, a process that was supported by bipartisan votes in Congress.
- Both parties expanded, supported, or failed to reform the SIV and asylum systems that allowed this case to unfold the way it did.
The real question here should be who is behind these policies that have led to this horrific event?
War is a racket. All modern wars are bankers’ wars. We The People pay the price while others profit. Who is profiting? Who is Trump cutting out from these revenue streams?
A beautiful, young life has been snuffed out. It is past time to hold those accountable who are truly responsible for this event.
