What is the Gaza Board of Peace? The Gaza Board of Peace is part of the peace plan worked out by the Trump administration. It is an international transitional mechanism aimed at managing Gaza in the aftermath of prolonged conflict. Most recently this has been the war that was started by Hamas through its October 7thatrocities.
Its core objective is to support stabilization, reconstruction, and civilian governance while preventing a power vacuum that would occur after Hamas had been defeated. The body is envisioned as a temporary arrangement involving international stakeholders, regional actors, and Palestinian technocrats to oversee aid delivery, rebuilding of infrastructure, and basic administration. It is meant to create conditions for long-term peace, security, and economic recovery in Gaza during a sensitive post-conflict phase. It has been supported and approved by the United nations.
What Trump has announced this week in connection with this is breath-taking in its vision and potential downstream ramifications.

Trump has just made the UN irrelevant and the biggest irony is that the UN approved this plan. Trump is using one of the most complex, conflicted landscapes to create an assembly of people that have a synergy of perspective.
Of course, the UN Assembly has gone bonkers. Those globalists who constructed the current UN are not happy. Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Helen McEntee issued a statement on Sunday defending the indefensible.
“The United Nations has a unique mandate to maintain international peace and security, and the legitimacy to bring nations together to find common solutions to shared challenges. While it may be imperfect, the UN and the primacy of international law is more important now than ever.”
“While it may be imperfect…”. That is the understatement of the day. The United Nations is a joke. It is a luxury posting for foreign diplomats. Trump has previously demonstrated that there are better, more efficient, more practical ways of doing things other than the entrenched DC way (Abraham Accords for one). Trump’s settling of various conflicts around the world during the last year are another clear example.
In just this particular example, the board could turn Gaza into a peaceful region, a premier vacation destination, and an economic powerhouse (agriculture, data centers, tourism, manufacturing).
And they could accomplish it in years, not decades, demonstrating how feckless and useless the UN, the NGO’s, and the politicians have been since the 1950’s.
President Trump just rewrote all the rules of the “Rules-based International Order.” The grifters who profited handsomely from gaming the old rules are not happy. In one fell swoop, Trump has eliminated the parasites that would have been feeding off the reconstruction of Gaza and, at the same time, would be demonstrating that the UN way of doing things like the DC way of doing things just doesn’t work for the people.
