One of the things that Tampon Tim Walz wants is a reduction of the number of federal agents that are currently in his state. This would encompass ICE, Border Patrol and other federal agents. PDJT has sent Tom Homan, the man in charge of ICE, to Minnesota after having a dialogue with the governor.
Walz needs to be able to save face and not appear to be completely subservient to the federal government. Being able to say that the number of agents is going down is a win for Walz. The brainwashed folks over on the Left might call this Trump TACOing (Trump Always Chickens Out). Nothing could be further from the truth.
The “withdrawal” of some immigration agents from Minnesota is dependent upon state and local officials cooperating with federal law enforcement, according to Border czar Tom Homan.
If there is “commonsense cooperation” that will allow for the “drawdown of the number of people we have here. Yes, I said it, draw down the number of people here,” Homan told reporters in Minneapolis Thursday.
Since arriving in Minneapolis, Homan has been busy meeting with state and local leaders, including Attorney General Keith Ellison. According to Homan, the AG says county jails are allowed to “notify ICE of the release dates of criminal public safety risks, so ICE can take custody of them upon the release from the jail.”
Such protocols allow a single agent to take custody of an Illegal alien within the secure situation of a lockup. ICE does not have to send out a team to find such individuals on the streets. It is much safer for all involved.
This certainly sounds like the mission has not changed. Public safety threats will be prioritized. The violent criminal aliens will be taken out of the country. America has already seen a very significant drop in the violent crime rate. This is because of the removal of violent felons from the country. This is the result of the beginning to restore the idea of accountability.
Next up is the huge fraud problem. How will the Left try to stop those investigations?
