As has been noted by many intelligent people, if we want our country to remain a bastion of liberty, voter ID is a requirement. How did America arrive at this predicament where rampant fraud is part of our election cycles?
The potential for fraud is part of election cycles everywhere. However, the fraud that we have been seeing where non-citizens have become an important voting bloc traces back to one man, former President Bill Clinton. Slick Willie was the architect of the 1993 “Motor Voter” law that has turned our elections into the mess that they currently are.
Lest one think this is some conspiracy theory, this is an official admission from the State of Pennsylvania’s own bureaucrats. The State of Pennsylvania bundled voter registrations with driver’s license applications at the DMV.
Harmless?
Amil Imani notes:
PennDOT’s system – that bloated government beast – slapped a checkbox for citizenship on the form, but here’s the gut-punch: a “glitch” (their weasel-word for sabotage) let non-citizens sail right through. No ID checks. No follow-ups. Just pure, unadulterated access to dilute your vote. For 30 years, this Clinton-era booby trap has been primed, exploding illegal registrations across the Commonwealth like cluster munitions in a foxhole.
Pennsylvania officials, cornered by relentless watchdogs at the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), admit the floodgates were wide open. We’re talking an estimated 100,000 non-citizen voter records unearthed – ghosts in the machine who could have swung elections with a whisper.
Of course, such infestation of our election systems by non-citizens is not restricted to just Pennsylvania. California is gradually being made to come clean about their machinations in voter registration efforts. And there are many other states that have such issues. All of this is downriver from Slick Willie’s 1993 law.
In a refreshing display of common sense amid Washington’s partisan gridlock, Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman has crossed the aisle to endorse voter ID laws, breaking ranks with his fellow Democrats. The Democrats as a whole seem hell-bent on keeping our elections vulnerable to fraud.
During an appearance on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Fetterman declared that requiring ID to vote is “not unreasonable” and “absolutely not Jim Crow,” dismissing the Left’s tired scare tactics.
This move comes as Republicans push the SAVE Act, which would mandate proof of citizenship and ID nationwide to prevent non-citizens from diluting American voices at the ballot box.
Fetterman exposed the Democrats’ hypocrisy: they claim to champion “democracy” while opposing basic integrity measures that 83% of Americans, including 71% of Democrats, support according to recent polls.
Conservatives applaud this maverick Democrat for putting country over party. Elon Musk called it “awesome” on X. If more Democrats followed suit, we might actually secure our borders and elections.
Instead, the left’s outrage reveals their true fear: accountable voting that favors law-abiding citizens over open borders and unchecked ballots. Will other Democrats follow suit or will they double down on supporting fraud and illegal aliens at the expense of Americans?
