A far-left Democrat congressional candidate in Philadelphia displayed a woeful ignorance of basic civics on live television last week. This happened after being asked a basic question about immigration enforcement.
On Friday, Dr. Ala Stanford sat down for a one-on-one interview with NBC 10 Philadelphia’s Lauren Mayk to discuss her candidacy for Pennsylvania’s 3rd congressional district, which is located in Philly. The incumbent, Congressman Dwight Evans, is retiring.
At one point, Mayk brought up Stanford’s support for abolishing ICE and had a very basic question for her: who should be in charge of enforcing immigration laws? This seemed to stump Dr. Stanford.

MAYK: You also said you’re running to abolish ICE…From an immigration enforcement perspective, who do you think should be in charge of enforcing immigration laws?
STANFORD (pauses first and nods her head): That’s a good question (pauses again). And you can…I just want to think about it.
MAYK: We need to continue, though.
STANFORD: Who do I think should be in charge of enforcing immigration laws? (short pause) Not the executive branch.
So not the president. It belongs with Congress.
This is incredible. This woman, who holds a doctorate in something (perhaps pediatrics), has no clue about how our government is set up. The Constitution CLEARLY states that the executive branch is in charge of enforcing the laws while Congress makes law. “Local police” could be seen as an acceptable answer even though incorrect.
Why do I have the feeling this moron will be elected?
Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles has said that he personally overheard a reporter wishing for President Donald Trump to be shot, while hiding from the shooter herself, during the assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday.
“There was a reporter, I probably shouldn’t say this, but I’m going to say it, there was a reporter in the room who was under a table, and when the shots went off, and everybody’s hiding, she said, ‘I hope they kill the orange MF,’” Ogles explained.
As Ogles went on to explain, “To the Left, it’s no longer a battlefield of ideas; it’s open warfare.” Ogles noted, “My side uses dialogue, the other side uses intimidation.”
This is just more insanity from the left side of the aisle. The Democrats are normalizing violence as a political weapon. It makes one wonder about the cognitive defects of such people.
The radical left never ceases to amaze with its bottomless depravity.
Just when you think they can’t sink any lower after celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk last September, a group of deranged far-left students steps up to prove that the Democrat Party’s culture of hate has rotted their brains beyond repair.
But this latest incident takes the depravity to a new low.
Conservative comedian and street journalist Alex Stein was doing a campus tour when the goth-looking far-left students spewed their disgusting punchline.
“So, uh, Charlie Kirk was pretty conservative, right? But in the end, he leans left,” the student quipped with a straight face, as her leftist comrades laughed along like it was the funniest thing in the world.
Stein:
“You think that’s funny to make fun of a guy that was brutally assassinated, publicly executed? What happened to you in your life that you think that’s okay? … You think that’s funny to watch a guy brutally get murdered and just to make jokes about it?”
“Listen, you have freedom of speech. You should be able to say whatever you want. But you think that — you think that’s funny? A guy, a father, just to get brutally murdered? And you think it’s funny to just joke about that? … You’re a sick person and you’re mentally ill and you’re shaking. You’re mentally ill. And really, one day you might look in the mirror and you realize how seriously mentally ill you are for coming up here and thinking that it’s so funny that a guy that was brutally assassinated died in front of thousands of people and millions of people saw it.”
