Winning

A group of quiet, deliberate nationalists has taken the Netherlands by surprise.  No one saw this coming.  It is a bigger upset than the election in Argentina.  The Party for Freedom (PVV) won 37 seats in Parliament and now stand as the largest political force in the country.  Populist Geert Wilders is now on track to be the next prime minister.

China has notified the WHO of clusters of pneumonia cases in children.  However, at this point in time, China is not reporting any unusual or novel pathogens in these outbreaks.  Beijing attributes the rise in “flu-like” illnesses to ending of COVID lockdowns and mandates.

Odds & Ends

New Jersey will phase out the sale of new gas-powered cars by 2035, joining states such as California and New York, Gov. Phil Murphy (D) announced Wednesday.  This goes hand in hand with the Left’s plan to reduce or eliminate the public’s ability to travel freely.

In the future that they envision for the rest of us, the only people who will be able to own a car are the wealthy and powerful. Everyone else will be expected to use public transportation.  Think back to Moscow in the days when the communists ruled the Soviet Union.

The Advanced Clean Cars II rule, set to take effect Jan. 1, comes amid a growing plethora of problems with EV’s.  Car makers are stuck with an inventory of EV’s that nobody wants despite the government’s campaign to coerce people into EV’s.  Major car companies are shuttering their EV production.

Congratulations to NJ for being late to the party.  In fact, the party is over when it comes to EV’s.

Trajectories

Thanksgiving is once again upon us.  In this uniquely American holiday, we give thanks for all the good things in our lives.  On more than one occasion, I have said that I won the lottery when I was born in this country.  The greatest experiment in human governance may be struggling right now but we can give thanks that it is still here.

The collapse in Treasury bonds now ranks among the worst market crashes in history. Since March 2020, Treasury bonds with maturities of 10 years or more have plummeted 46%, Bloomberg says. That’s just under losses seen in the stock market when the dot-com bubble burst at the end of the last century. The bond rout is worse than the one seen in 1981 when the 10-year yield neared 16%.

Everyone needs to listen to this message.  We are seeing this happen before our very eyes.  The persecution of PDJT is designed to do away with freedom of speech and all other rights within our Bill of Rights.

Our National Debt

Comments Off on Our National Debt

Some more insights from Rep. Ralph Norman about the debt problem that America has.  We must stop this asinine spending beyond our means.  If we don’t, the economy will collapse at some point.  And that point is not just on the horizon.  It is a lot closer than that.
