The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has overturned the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) use of 1512(c)(2), a statute pertaining to obstruction of an official proceeding, in cases related to the events of January 6th (J6).  This ruling is a major win for those political prisoners.   It is also a significant setback for the Biden regime.

Assange Freed

Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks, has been released from prison.  Assange, who had been imprisoned in the United Kingdom for the last five years after spending seven years in the Ecuadorian Embassy, reached a plea deal with the Biden DOJ that will allow him to return to his native Australia.  All details of the plea deal have not been released at this point in time.

An interesting story has emerged from the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.  The 11th Circuit handles appeals from courts that currently include Judge Cannon’s court that is handling the Mar-a-Lago documents case.

The lawfare leadership of Norm Eisen, Mary McCord, Andrew Weissmann and other members of the Lawfare community have been waging an open media campaign against Florida Judge Aileen Cannon because, in the Jack Smith documents case, Judge Cannon is not giving them what they want.

In essence, Chief Judge William Pryor has told the lawfare people who are trying to cancel Judge Cannon to go “take a hike” or perhaps something more profane.  Judge Pryor, of course, used polite legal language to convey this message.

Victor Davis Hanson (VDH) is an American classicist, military historian, and conservative political commentator. He has been a commentator on warfare and contemporary politics for The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, National Review, The Washington Times, and other media outlets.

He is a professor emeritus of Classics at California State University, Fresno, the Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow in classics and military history at the Hoover Institution, and visiting professor at Hillsdale College.

Hanson walks through the fear of the entire political left.  This fear exists because they have been unable to destroy PDJT and everything he represents.

The attacks on Christianity continue.  Since the 1960s, the Knights of Columbus have held a Memorial Day event at the Poplar Grove National Cemetery in Petersburg, VA.

For the last two years, however, The National Park Service (NPS) has refused permission for the event due to a new policy prohibiting “religious services” and calling the ceremony to honor this nation’s fallen heroes a “demonstration.”
