Recently NY Governor Kathy Hochul came out to talk about “common sense” gun laws. Hochul said that one could no longer buy handguns in NY that could be converted into semi-automatic weapons capable of firing 1200 rounds per minute. It is not clear if Hochul was referencing a recently passed piece of legislation or just a proposed one or perhaps some new regulation.
Hochul seems to be a bit confused about what she is trying to do or actually did.
A few weeks back, a severely disturbed, fifteen-year-old girl shot up the Abundant Life Christian School killing two people in the process. The shooter took her own life as well. Some half a dozen people were injured during the shooting. According to her alleged writings and social media posts, the girl hated the male of the species and wanted to launch an extermination campaign against all males. What the source of such hatred was is unknown. She also demonstrated a deep interest in the Columbine shootings.
“Threats to democracy” is something that we hear from the Communists inside the Democratic Party regularly. It was a constant refrain from people like Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Lately Hillary Clinton has resurfaced to spread such crap as well. And there are many other Democrats who engage in this kind of character assassination.
During the last week, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy has declared firearm violence as a public health crisis. This has largely flown under the radar which is what they planned since Joe Biden’s debacle at The CNN Debate was dominating the news cycle. The Left is just another attempt to curtail the freedoms that all Americans enjoy.

U.S. District Court Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk blocked the ATF from enforcing its ban on AR-15 style “pistols” equipped with arm braces, calling the agency’s new rule unlawful.
