PDJT spoke eloquently about the security problems on our southern border during his State of the Union address. One of the problems that he mentioned that results from illegal aliens flooding into the country is the effect on jobs and wages.
A little levity to end the week.
The President’s State of the Union speech addressed many things. One of the most important for the wellbeing of the country as a whole is the problem of illegal immigration on our southern border. A transcript of that part of his speech is provided here below.
The Democrats have cancelled the State of the Union address scheduled for January 29th. Technically they dis-invited PDJT.
The Federal government shutdown continues. While federal workers go without pay, what are Democratic lawmakers doing? Turns out they are partying in Puerto Rico with K Street lobbyists. As Paul Bedard noted:
On Tuesday evening PDJT went before the American public to make his case for the building of a border wall. Of course, getting airtime was not a guarantee. Most of the networks would rather do something else than provide PDJT with time to make his case. However, the MSM could not afford to have all the analysis coming from Fox News. So the networks caved and broadcasted his address.
The border wall has been in the news a lot lately since the Democrats refuse to allocate a single penny to protecting our southern border. As a result, there has been a partial shutdown of the Federal Government, not that anybody has noticed except those who are now without paychecks.
There has been a lot of smoke generated about this issue. The Dems will parade some illegal alien who just finished college as proof we should have open borders. Of course this is a far cry from just a decade ago when the Dems were all in for protecting the border. ...
In an interview with The Guardian last Thursday Hillary Clinton came out against the unrestricted flow of migrants into Europe. This has shaken Democratic politicians to the core. Democrats have been unrestrained in their support of an “open borders” policy in America as well as in their criticism of PDJT’s policies on our southern border with Mexico.
Hillary Clinton said that immigration reform, “not open borders,” is needed “on both sides of the Atlantic.” “I think Europe needs to get a handle on migration because that is what lit the flame.” Is this a trial balloon to see if she can garner support for another run at the Presidency? She knows that the issue resonates with significant portions of the American electorate.
Are politics behind the hordes of migrants heading north in Mexico towards the United States? Do the Democrats expect to enroll thousands of more voters by any means once they are here?
