Odds & Ends

Oregon Governor Kate Brown has cancelled the proficiency standards for reading, writing and math from high school graduation requirements in Oregon.

The governor’s office says “suspending the reading, writing and math proficiency requirements … will benefit “Oregon’s Black, Latino, Latina, Latinx, Indigenous, Asian, Pacific Islander, Tribal, and students of color.”

In essence, the students of color are not smart enough to learn reading, writing or math – so they shouldn’t be expected to read, write or understand mathematics.

How racist can one person be?  This is as bad as saying that people of color are too stupid to get/keep an ID so that they can vote.

I never believed that this could happen in America.  The jack boots have arrived in New York City where Lady Liberty stands in the harbor.  Fuhrer Wilhelm DiBlasio, NYC mayor, announced that a vaccine passport would be required. Effective September 13th, anyone living or visiting New York City who has not been vaccinated will be blocked from entering any private venue, restaurant or indoor facility.  Businesses will be required to operate security checkpoints. People without proof of vaccinated status will be denied entry.

Democrat to English Dictionary

In these trying times, it is very important to be able to understand communications coming from various sources.  Without an accurate understanding of what is being communicated, one could arrive at the wrong insights into what is happening in the country.  With that in mind, Eric Utter over at American Thinker, as a public service, has provided a dictionary which translates Democratese into standard English.

The Latest Desperate Move

After Joe Biden’s white-knuckled speech in Philadelphia about protecting the right of Democrats to commit election and voter fraud, Congress in the form of the House Oversight and Reform Committee will now try to discredit America’s Audit in Maricopa County, Arizona.  [pdf of letter to Arizona auditors here]. The Democrats cannot afford to have the public come to believe in the fact of an illegitimate President.

Random Thoughts

Dr. Fauci went on the offensive.  Fauci told Chuck Todd on MSNBC that attacking him was like attacking science.

“If you are trying to get at me as a public health official and a scientist, you’re really attacking, not only Dr. Anthony Fauci, you are attacking science.”

Science?  Which science is that?  If it’s the science of how to tell whoppers and get away with it, at least for a while, then maybe so.

Fauci has MD after his name but he is no doctor.  Fauci is no scientist.  He is a Washington bureaucrat who, along with his wife, has been handsomely paid for many years for engaging in political science.  Yes, his wife is on the NIH payroll. ...

It’s Up To Us

Christopher Cantrill over at American Thinker has done an excellent piece on the real intents and purposes of our Democratic rulers.  In it he brings out the fact that most of our so-called policy experts are just interested proposing policy solutions not in actually making them work.  Cantrill proposes that everyday Americans need to stand up and take our country back.

After Biden: It’s Up to Us

Some of us might believe that limited government is the real foundation of true liberty.  Of course, that would upset the “natural” order of things.  As Cantrill notes:

Biden Leads War On Babies

Comments Off on Biden Leads War On Babies

Over the many decades we have heard about various “wars.”  There was the War on Drugs, the War on Terror, the War on Bio-Terror.  It seems that every few years some politician comes up with catchy phrase to distract the public from all the corruption going on in Washington.

While the Avatar in the White House has tried to focus the public’s attention on “domestic extremists,” the Dems have seemingly been unable to come up with a catchy phrase.  And most Americans are not buying into the insanity that the most serious threat to American governance is white supremacy.  The reality is that “woke supremacy” fills that category.

That is not to say that the Dems are not conducting another “war.”  This time, however, it is not against some threat in a far-off land.  It is not against the drug cartels who move tons of drugs across a border that has become very porous since the Avatar took office.  It is not against the human traffickers who are plying their trade virtually unmolested south of the border.  This war is a war against the unborn.

A Conflict Of Visions

1 Comment on A Conflict Of Visions

The Maricopa County audit of the 2020 election vote is now one week into the actual counting.  What will be the result?  At this point there is nothing known about that. However, thinking people believe that significant fraud will be exposed.  After all, the number of people who used one particular empty lot as their mailing address was in the four-digit range.  Many other examples of fraudulent registration have been detailed.

However, the Democrat-Corporate-Media complex is undefeated in terms of being held accountable for as long as I can remember.  The media narrative is already set in place.  “The audit is a fraud and thrown together by right-wing wackos.”  Big Media will play this theme over and over to instill in the low-information portion of the public that “domestic extremism” is trying to overthrow the results of a legitimate election.  I would not be surprised to see the words “white supremacy,” “terrorism” and “racism” surface in these narratives.  It will be another “greatest threat to democracy since the Civil War event.”

The Dems have gotten away with this kind of process for a long time.  And there are people on the other side of the aisle who are just as guilty.  I have had some acquaintances ask the following question.  “Why is so difficult for some normal people to think that anyone trying to stop the audit is guilty?”  This leads us to the concept of a conflict of visions.
