It’s Up To Us

Christopher Cantrill over at American Thinker has done an excellent piece on the real intents and purposes of our Democratic rulers.  In it he brings out the fact that most of our so-called policy experts are just interested proposing policy solutions not in actually making them work.  Cantrill proposes that everyday Americans need to stand up and take our country back.

After Biden: It’s Up to Us

Some of us might believe that limited government is the real foundation of true liberty.  Of course, that would upset the “natural” order of things.  As Cantrill notes:

Job One for government is to go to war. It might be war on Nazis or war on Commies. Why? Because that’s what real rulers do. Remember President Clinton regretting that he never went to war? If you can’t find an external enemy, an internal enemy will do.

So what are the Bidenoids doing? They are mobilizing for a global war on climate change and an internal war on “systemic racism.” A two-front war for a warrior president.

As with all wars, from fighting the bloody Brits in 1776 to fighting the bloody Commies in the Cold War, the Biden wars are all about morality: the immorality of eeevil fossil fuels and the morality of making war on systemic racists.

Can there be any doubt about this?  We have been told by the media over and over that the planet will burn up if we do not stop using fossil fuels.  We have been taught that we are being selfish if we want to preserve even the least of the comforts that cheap energy brings us.

One of the campaigns introduced into the schools during the last decade was the idea of a carbon footprint.  Our children and grandchildren have been taught that carbon dioxide is a bad thing.  Fossil fuels are the main source of this evil, odorless gas.  Of course, our children and grandchildren are not told that the cheap energy from fossil fuels is responsible for almost all the material things we value, from our homes and almost everything in them to our modes of transportation, our schools, restaurants, playgrounds, etc.

In this case the pie-in-the-sky policy solutions are so expensive there is no chance that they will ever work.  Some experts have costed out AOC’s “Green New Deal” at some $90 trillion.  But then again, as Cantrill points out, there is no intent at actually making solutions work.

As for systemic racism, MLK had successfully ended much of that.  In fact, until Barack Obama came along, the idea of “systemic racism” had been banished to the ash heap of history in this country.  Obama resurrected the idea of systemic racism in order to divide the country and to silence critics of any and all policy proposals that he would bring forward.  The definition of racism became one that encompassed all who dared to disagree with Obama.

Cantrill goes on:

Job Two for government is to distribute loot and plunder to the supporters.

So what are the Bidenoids doing? They are dishing out loot and plunder to their supporters in the trillions. Trillions for well-connected suppliers of materiel for the sinews of climate war; trillions for ordinary bums to hang out in their homeless encampments and shoot dope and put off the day when they have to Get a Job.

Again, can there be any doubt about this?  The Democrats under LBJ created a welfare state in this country that has done exactly nothing towards making people self-sufficient.  Tens of trillions of dollars have been spent in the “war on poverty.”  The percentage of people living below the poverty line was unchanged since LBJ’s presidency.  The Trump presidency was beginning to change that until the election was stolen.  Now we are back there again.  This time overly generous unemployment benefits are keeping people off the roles of the employed.  Many people can bring in more money not working than they would if they went back to work.  What will happen when the reality of all this blossoms in the public consciousness?

Cantrill touches on the fact that it has been this way throughout history.  Cantrill talks about the Frankish empire.  He notes the “morality” of conquering and that the result has been looting and plundering.  What he says can easily be applied to the British empire, the Spanish empire, etc.

It also applies to our American history.  In fact, the current plundering going on is of the common people in this country.  It is only recently that more and more Americans are waking up to this.  The specter of huge inflation is raising its ugly head.  This administration is beginning to look like Jimmy Carter 2.0.

How can this be changed?  Cantrill reports:

That means it’s up to us. It’s up to us to change the moral matrix at the school board and declare that anyone that advocates Critical Race Theory for the kiddies is a moral monster and a hater. It’s up to us to stigmatize the climate grifters as bloodsuckers and Malefactors of Great Green. It’s up to us to relabel the homeless: from helpless victims into moral cretins. It’s up to us to teach Americans to think of government employee unions as evil slime. It’s up to us to slowly convert Social Security from a slush fund into a genuine savings program. It’s up to us to bully social media into canceling lefty haters instead of the former President of the United States.

Amen!
