Russia/Ukraine Off Ramp

Comments Off on Russia/Ukraine Off Ramp

We are now beginning to hear about an exit strategy from the morass that the West finds itself in.  Ukraine is desperate to find any possible breakthrough to sell to their NATO masters at this point.  However, the much-vaunted counter offensive (first in the Spring, then in June) has failed to materialize.  No breakthroughs have been achieved despite massive losses of manpower and equipment

One of the fear porn stories coming out of the Russia-Ukraine conflict in June was that the Russians were planning to blow up the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).  Zelensky claimed that explosives were in place and that the Russians were ready to do this.

Las Vegas has a booking line on just about anything that is up for debate.  One of the current lines operating is on whose baggie of cocaine was found in the White House.  BetOnline  made the first son the top pick that he was the one enjoying a spot of nose candy in the West Wing.

Despite plenty of videotapes and facial recognition technology, the vaunted FBI, who were able to track J6 defendants across the country and around the world, claimed they will never discover whose stash it was.

That’s because the potential offender is a “protected” class.

Russian Civil War?

Comments Off on Russian Civil War?

Big Media has been foaming at the mouth over what they are calling an armed insurrection in Russia.  Wagner group mercenaries were supposedly marching on Moscow with Yevgeny Prigozhin stating the war was immoral.  Putin had no reason to start the war.  Ukraine was not a threat, etc.

Big Media was saying that Putin was humiliated and that he likely would have trouble moving forward.  Putin’s authority was irreparably damaged according to former US ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst.  According to Prigozhin, Russian troops are demoralized and poorly led.

Then like flipping a light switch, the “insurrection” was over.  Despite an arrest warrant being issued and following a furious address by Putin broadcast across Russia, Prigozhin was allowed to go into exile in Belarus and the warrant was cancelled.  The Wagner Group is being assimilated into the ranks of the regular Russian Army something which Prigozhin had publicly resisted.

So what really happened?

The time approaches for another abortive attempt to smear PDJT with an indictment.  Special Counsel Jack Smith who has been on a fishing expedition since he started this job appears likely to issue some indictments in South Florida over the Mar-a-Lago raid.  It is useful to go over again just what the nature of that raid was about.

Tucker Carlson, who is currently embroiled in a contract dispute with his former network, has used his personal Twitter account to return to visibility.  I for one am grateful to have someone speaking loudly in defense of America as our founders envisioned it.  The video has gotten 3.5 million views in the first hour.  How’s Fox’s prime time lineup doing?

The video now has 27 million views.  The control freaks in Washington have to be going bananas.

F-16’s and Ukraine

Comments Off on F-16’s and Ukraine

One of the news items floating around recently has been the idea that Ukraine will be receiving F-16’s to use against Russia.  Anyone who seriously understands the operational characteristics of an F-16 knows that this is a really stupid idea.

Navy Cmdr. Angela Gonzales has been fired as commanding officer of the destroyer USS John Finn, the service announced this weekend.

Vice Adm. Karl Thomas, head of 7th Fleet, relieved Gonzales on May 19 “due to a loss of confidence in her ability to fulfill her responsibilities in leading the ship,” according to the Navy news release, which did not include any specific reasons that prompted Thomas to lose confidence in Gonzales.

Escalation

      Comments Off on Escalation

The proxy war against Russia has escalated again.  Last week four Russian aircraft, two fighter jets and two helicopters, were shot down near the Ukrainian border.  An Su-34 fighter-bomber, Su-35 fighter and two Mi-8 helicopters had made up a raiding party, and had been “shot down almost simultaneously” in an ambush in the Bryansk region.

It is highly unlikely that this was accomplished by the Ukrainian military forces.  Most likely, this event occurred through significant help from NATO troops.  Increasingly NATO forces have been involved in escalating the war in Ukraine.
