Biden is going to Israel today.  The agenda here is transparently obvious.

  • First, there is no strategic benefit to Israel from a Joe Biden visit. In fact, the opposite is true.
  • Second, notice how there was no advanced notice when Biden visited Kiev, Ukraine. Yet here, with a real backdrop of violence, a Biden visit to Israel is announced in advance.
  • Third, state visits such as these require extensive planning and security measures; the absence of which here underlines the urgency of motive.

Recently Candace Owens gave a speech at the University at Albany.  Owens was taking part in Turning Point USA’s Live Free Tour.  During the question-and-answer portion of the program, one student asked: “What do you have to say to the trans students on this campus who feel actively victimized by your presence here?”

Odds & Ends

John Fetterman has apparently engaged in some self-introspection.

The House went home on Friday without electing a speaker.  The media is apoplectic that this is paralyzing the country.  Last I checked everything is still running smoothly here.  The pundits are worried about the country being forced to shut down some unnecessary functions next month.

My question is, “is that really a downside to this situation?”

California has apparently decided that kids should not be held accountable for their behavior in school.  From the Epoch Times...

COVID Odds & Ends

Regardless of whatever else will be said about the UK’s health care system, they do keep thorough statistics.  We have heard ad nauseum that the jabs are “safe and effective.”  Those who refused the jabs were trying to kill people.  I heard that one myself.  I actually had a sibling move away from me at a family gathering when she found out that I was unjabbed.  What’s the reality?

Barbarism

Hamas, also known as Palestinian rapists and murderers, launched an attack on Israel last Saturday.  This featured the killing of people at bus stops, in their homes and in their cars.  Also on the agenda was the raping of women and girls, breaking their limbs and then executing them.  Some were burned alive while the onlookers cheered.  Perhaps the worst atrocity was the killing of babies.  An untold number of them were decapitated.  Some of them were burned as well.

Economic Chaos

Karl Denninger was the founder and CEO of MCSNet. He later sold the company to Winstar Communications.  Denninger is a founding contributor to the finance blog market-ticker.org, and has used the internet to bring attention to his concerns with the financial system.  Denninger was also one of the early members of the Tea Party movement, sometimes referred to as a founder.

Denninger is gifted at processing mountains of statistical data and being able to present his findings in an understandable manner.  He does not pretend.  Denninger does not ignore data he does not like.

Denninger did an outstanding job with COVID data.  While I do not always subscribe to his ideas for fixing things, his analyses are thought provoking.

Karl Denninger believes we are headed to very bad economic times and he pulls no punches in telling everyone why.

Another interview with Caroline Glick.  Glick is a stable, non-pretending voice of pragmatic deliberation as the Israeli response to the Hamas attack continues.  Glick does not pretend that there is some aspect of the current situation where an accommodation with Hamas is possible.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

In less than two minutes, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outlined the nature of the barbarian enemy they face, but also dropped all pretending when he said, “Hamas is ISIS.”   For those who understand the nature of the Middle East, not the pretend version pushed by western media and intelligence within those three words, there is a depth of understanding.

Hamas, Hezbollah, al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, and ISIS are all factions of the same overall core violent and militant ideology.  Each of these violent factions represents a spine in the umbrella of the Muslim Brotherhood (political Islam).  It is a good thing to see Netanyahu drop the pretending and admit the core nature of the terrorist enemy they are facing.   This approach may put Arab nations like Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia in a tough domestic position, but it needs to be said out loud.

Caroline Glick On The War

On Saturday, Hamas terrorists launched over 5,000 missiles at Israel overwhelming the Iron Dome defense.  Israel was also attacked by land and by sea.  More than a thousand civilians were wantonly slaughtered by Hamas.  Some 250 were cut down at a festival for peace near Gaza.  Hundreds of young women and girls have been kidnapped and have been declared to be sex slaves.  Hamas claims they have another 100,000 missiles ready to go.
