Hegseth Confirmed For DOD

As previously noted, in a last-ditch attempt to derail Pete Hegseth’s nomination to lead the Department of Defense, Senators received an 11th hour affidavit with spousal abuse allegations against Hegseth ahead of his confirmation vote. This is the same tactic used against Brett Kavanaugh when he was nominated for the Supreme Court. It was also used against Justice Clarence Thomas during his confirmation hearings many years ago.

Now I am no expert on the legality or illegality of pardons by any President. I depend on the legal analysis of experts in order to understand some of the ramifications of the recent flurry of pardons by both PDJT and Joe Biden. One such expert is Jonathan Turley who is a recognized constitutional expert. However, even Turley would not want to guess how the Supreme Court would rule on most cases that come before them. Will the pardon power ever be reviewed by the Supreme Court? Only time will tell.

India has agreed to take back every one of its citizens who are living illegally in the United States. The Economic Times reported that Trump and the Indian government are working hand-in-hand to address this immigration issue.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi — a professed fan of Trump’s — and his government will be aiding PDJT in his effort to address the invasion of our country by illegals.

In a twist of fate, PDJT’s inauguration this time fell on the day designated by the Federal Government (3^rdMonday in January) to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. And this is perhaps the most significant coincidence in this nation’s history in a long time.

Dr. King was not just someone who championed the blacks who were at a disadvantage in America. A few weeks before his death in 1968, Dr. King spoke about the “other America” to a union group in New York.

The Communists Democrats with the help of the FBI manuevered the Senate confirmation hearings so that only Pete Hegseth was on the calendar on Tuesday. Originally three such hearings were scheduled but the FBI slow walked the background checks of the other two so that Hegseth was the only one on Tuesday. The idea here was to magnify via the media any slip up by Hegseth when answering the ridiculous questions of some Communist Democratic Senators.

Hundreds of thousands of Romanians are furious with the current government for the cancellation of the presidential election. They marched through the capital Bucharest to demand that the vote should proceed and that outgoing – and by now illegitimate – President Klaus Iohannis should resign.

According to Reuters, the vote was cancelled when the CIA and MI6 told Romania’s top court that the success of frontrunner Calin Georgescu, a critic of NATO, was due to an unfair social media campaign likely to have been orchestrated by Russia.
