London Has Fallen

Susan Kokinda has a generally good summary of some pf the financial issues involved with specifically the Strait of Hormuz.  Kokinda highlights UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer declining to join an American blockade and claims Britain has lost control of the choke point. She details financial actions targeting Iranian money flows.  These include UAE arrests of IRGC-linked money changers, Treasury Secretary Bessent using Patriot Act Section 311 against a Zurich bank, and scrutiny of London-based crypto exchanges and Santander UK.

The collapse of the negotiations between Iran’s “leadership” and the United States in Pakistan was as predictable as the Sun rising the East.  And it did not take two weeks for it to happen.  Why?  Because Iran’s current leadership has not yet grasped that they must give up their quest for nuclear weapons.  There is no country on the planet that would be happy to see Iran with a nuclear weapon.

Connect The Dots

There are many among the cognitively impaired people on the  Left that claim that PDJT is operating the presidency without any semblance of a plan.  It is all shoot from the hip.  Well, believe it or not there are some among the Big Media who are pointing out that there is a long term plan.  Some people are beginning to connect the dots.

One is hearing from the Communists Democrats on a regular basis that they will punish the MAGA movement when they get back in power.  The persecution of J6ers by the Democrats will seem tame compared to what the Left is talking about now.

Colorado had passed a law banning counseling of kids with gender dysphoria if such counseling would result in such kids becoming comfortable with their God-given sex.  The law aimed to prevent kids from receiving the best kind of treatment for gender dysphoria.  The law had been passed behind the moronic advice of transgender activists.

Odds & Ends

Insane! Starting June 1st, a new Illinois Democrat approved law will take away parking spaces in many parts of Illinois. It’s an effort to force you to get rid of your car or truck and increase housing density.

Illinois’ new ‘People Over Parking Act’ is set to take effect June 1, 2026. The law, signed by “King” J.B. Pritzker, will ban local governments from requiring minimum parking spaces for new residential and commercial developments located near transit hubs.

Democrats claim it fights “car dependency” and boosts housing. In reality, it guts parking supply where it’s needed most. Developers, facing no mandate, will build fewer or zero spots to cut costs and cram in more units. Existing on-street parking will face fiercer competition from new residents and workers who still own cars. ...

It was recently announced that VP JD Vance would head up a demolition derby that is responsible for rooting out fraud across the country.  Arrests have begun in California.

The Guardian confirmed that the LA raids had already started. Federal agents in Los Angeles arrested suspects in a $50 million healthcare and hospice fraud operation even before Trump’s announcement went up.

“Somalia beware!” encapsulates the entire ten-year Minneapolis welfare fraud saga.  Are they the Kingdom or just the front steps to the Kingdom? ...

Energy and The EU

Comments Off on Energy and The EU

Energy at a reasonable price is the driver of any country’s economy.  Cheap and plentiful energy has created the world we live in.  To believe otherwise is just plain insane.  The war in Iran has disrupted some sources of cheap energy.  Some 20% of the world’s supply of hydrocarbons passes through the Straits of Hormuz.  That has been effectively closed for the last month.  How has this affected the EU and the UK?
