Morality & The Border Wall

Immigration is the seminal issue of our time.  When it comes to immigration, the distance between elite politicians in Washington and the common people is wider than the Grand Canyon. There are only a few people in Washington who are actually looking out for the people.  Fortunately for America and for liberty in general, one of them is PDJT.

The President hit the proverbial nail on the head when he said that controlling immigration is the moral thing to do.

Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House, called the wall “immoral.”  So, apparently 72% of Americans are immoral for supporting the idea of a wall.

According to the leader of the Democratic Party in the House, reducing the number of jobs for Americans is the moral thing to do.  Lowering wages for Americans is the moral thing to do. Allowing for increasing crime is the moral thing to do.  Selling girls and women into prostitution is the moral thing to do.

Somehow this does not jive with the morality that I learned in my catechism. Morally right and wrong were pretty much an absolute.  I believe it still is.  However, the Democrats deal in a much more fluid definition of morally right and wrong. Something is moral if it matches up with what they want to do.  It is immoral if it is something they oppose.

This moral poison infecting the Democratic Party is spreading.  Recent enactment of laws allowing infanticide in NY along with attempts by Democratic leaders in other states to do the same illustrate just how depraved the left has become.

Because of the NY State law recently signed by a Catholic, Steve McCann noted

And this disregard for humanity appears to be ingrained in the Democratic Party.

This is the modern Democratic Party.
