On Sunday night’s 60 Minutes Andrew McCabe tried to project that he was one of the good guys. He tried to say that he was just “doing his job” trying to protect the country when he “explored” options for removing PDJT from office in May, 2017. This occurred just months after PDJT had taken office.
Our country is in deep trouble. A storm is coming. These were covert activities done to discredit and, if possible, remove PDJT. Will no one in the DOJ and/or the FBI stand up for truth and justice? It is clear that these agencies are badly corrupted in the upper echelons. As was asked yesterday, will it be possible to restore these agencies to a position of trust and respect in the eyes of the American people?

When did it become the mission of the FBI to screw the President of the United States and his inner circle? How many of the top people believed that this was now the mission of the FBI? And now Andrew McCabe is saying he only had the best interests of the country at heart?

When the MSM starts using words like attempted coup, coup plotters, etc., it may be the beginning of the end for some of these bad actors. Will some of them be jettisoned in order to “save” others from being exposed and prosecuted? Are some evil actors being forced out of the darkness, out of the shadows and into the sunlight? What thoughts are running through the heads of people like James Comey, Rod Rosenstein, Peter Strzok, etc.?
Some of the participants may be beginning to turn on each other. Certainly McCabe seems to be throwing Rosenstein under the proverbial bus.

If McCabe’s statements are true, they show that Rosenstein was enthusiastic about the possibility of wearing a wire. Of course, this was an attempt to trap PDJT into some admission that would discredit PDJT or force PDJT to resign. This story started with a NYT article last year suggesting this. Apparently Rosenstein was thinking of using the 25th Amendment as a political weapon. Are different elements and different MSM actors taking sides to deflect the sunlight being shown in their direction?
A DOJ spokesperson for Rosenstein issued the following non-denial denial of McCabe’s accusation.
“As to the specific portions of this interview provided to the Department of Justice by ’60 Minutes’ in advance, the Deputy Attorney General again rejects Mr. McCabe’s recitation of events as inaccurate and factually incorrect,” A Justice Department spokesperson said in a statement. “The Deputy Attorney General never authorized any recording that Mr. McCabe references. As the Deputy Attorney General previously has stated, based on his personal dealings with the President, there is no basis to invoke the 25th Amendment, nor was the DAG in a position to consider invoking the 25th Amendment.” (emphasis added)
Note that McCabe never said such an activity was authorized. And, of course, the amendment itself does not permit the DAG to invoke the amendment. Note also that there is no denial that such a conversation took place. Rosenstein has great difficulty doing this since the FBI had memorialized the conversation.
This is almost biblical. In the Old Testament, God often confused the enemies of Israel so that they turned against each other. Is that what is happening here?
On Monday, AG William Barr demoted Rosenstein, replacing him with Jeffrey Rosen. This removes Rod Rosenstein from having anything to do with overseeing the Robert Mueller probe. It is expected that Rosenstein will resign from the DOJ fairly soon.
Where is all this headed? How bad will the storm be that is surely coming? Does the FBI need to be disbanded and rebuilt from the ground up? Only God knows.
