PDJT has been vindicated. The Mueller witch hunt has ended. SC Robert Mueller presented his report to the AG on Friday. This wrapped up a 22-month investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Special counsel Robert Mueller did not issue any additional indictments. Also, a senior Justice Department official told news outlets Friday there are no charges under seal.
During the 22-month probe, Mueller issued no indictments related to contacts with Russia. This dealt a devastating blow to the sensational prophesies of journalists, analysts and entire news networks. Some pundits were speculating just a couple of weeks ago that President Donald Trump and his inner circle were just days away from being carted off to prison for conspiring with Russia to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.
Mueller’s investigation resulted in a clown show over at CNN. They repeatedly bungled, botched or mishandled news about the Trump campaign investigation. Reporter Maeve Reston admitted last January that Russia is “all we talk about at CNN.” The result has been an absolute implosion of ratings for the network as they have dropped into the basement.
How did most of the pundits and analysts at MSM react to the news that the investigation is over? Remember the MSM “knew” Trump was guilty. They knew it because without Russian help, how could he have beaten HRC? Their entire construct has collapsed. Will it seep through the TDS infection that they have and dawn on them that Trump may be telling the truth about all sorts of things? Did they confess that they were wrong like the true professionals they are supposed to be?
Most of the MSM have some form of TDS. It may be at different stages but the belief that PDJT was guilty was a core belief. When all you supposedly know suddenly disappears like a wisp of smoke, you take it hard.
Chris Matthews over at CNN appeared to be inconsolable. He asked, “How could they let Trump off the hook?” He is still hoping for some crumbs to latch onto when the report is made public.
Ken Dilanian, national security reporter at NBC tried to make it seem as if this outcome was expected. “My only conclusion is that the president transmitted to Mueller that he would take the Fifth. He would never talk to him and therefore, Mueller decided it wasn’t worth the subpoena fight.” This was in direct contradiction to what PDJT had expressed over and over that he was willing to talk to the Special Counsel.
Rachel Maddow at MSNBC seemed to be on the verge of tears as she handled the announcement. Of course, she has long used the idea of Russian collusion as a lever to criticize the Trump administration. Last July, the MSNBC host accused Trump of serving the “interests of another country” following his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Now all that is gone. Maddow may now have to defend items like the merits of AOC’s Green New Deal. She already knows that is a losing proposition.
What does this mean going forward? Mueller was quite successful at shielding corrupt DOJ and FBI officials from scrutiny by Congress. Those people had hoped for both the Senate and House to be Democratic at this point. That did not happen. Perhaps more sunlight will be shown in some dark places going forward. It also means that PDJT could now declassify the FISA warrants mess so that the American people can see just how corrupt the process was. Perhaps the biggest scandal in American political history, the attempted rigging of the 2016 election by the Democrats, can begin to be exposed.
