The Rev Is Exposed

Every major Democrat candidate for President has made the pilgrimage to the throne of Rev. Al Sharpton.  The fact that Sharpton has been a divisive force within the country for decades is largely irrelevant.  If a Democrat wants the black vote, they bow and scrape and kiss Al’s ring because he’s the Pope of race hustling.  Nationally, as well as in many states, Democrats can’t win without a 90% black vote.  Al Sharpton delivers the ghetto vote that the Democrats need desperately.

Sharpton stirred up the Crown Heights riot and got people killed when they burned that store down with people in it. Sharpton was a principal figure in the Tawanna Brawley hoax which falsely smeared the NYPD and led to civil unrest.  Sharpton was one of the principal reasons that George Zimmerman was charged when he shot and killed Trayvon Martin in a clear case of self-defense.  There are a boatload of other examples over the years.  Sharpton has made his living off of race hustling.

On Thursday Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) “played back” some of the Rev’s statements over the years during a hearing on policing.  Gaetz used quotes from noted liberal Joe Scarborough as part of his exposition.  Gaetz exposed Sharpton’s history of bigotry and anti-semitism.  And the best part is that it is now part of the Congressional Record.

Chairman Nadler was clearly in over his head.  This is another of those days when he must seriously have been re-examining his desire to lead this committee.  Nadler is being threatened in next year’s primary by an attractive, younger woman from the far left.   This has led to his attempts to lead an impeachment inquiry against the wishes of his own leadership.  And that was a big mess when Corey Lewandowski came before this same committee this week.  What must Pelosi be thinking at this point?

Rep. Gaetz exposition was so good that Jim Jordan (R-OH) yielded his time to him so that he could continue the exposition.

It’s actually great to have Sharpton’s words on the record for everyone to hear how hateful and bigoted they are. In the past no major political figure on either side of the aisle would call Sharpton out on his blatant racism and anti-semitism.  African American communities deserve so much better than this.  Maybe this will be the beginning of these communities finally breaking free from the Democratic plantation.

It would seem that some Republicans in Congress have awakened to the fact that sitting back being “collegial” while the Democrats verbally beat the crap out of you is not a good strategy.  I wonder who they learned that from?  While PDJT is the supreme counterpuncher, I wonder how much Justice Kavanaugh fighting back during the circus of his confirmation hearings has helped some Republicans realize that this is a good strategy at the appropriate time.

Of course, the Left will try to vilify Gaetz as a racist and a bigot. But, the facts will be out there. Gaetz has created a narrative that will bring out the truth through the outrage.  People will remember Tawanna Brawley and the other events.  There will be talk.  Sharpton is exposed as an extremely odious character.

The big takeaway here is that there are now some Republican politicians who have finally realized that we are in a war for the existence of the country, and they are taking the fight to the enemy.

Bravo!
