Some 20 years ago Howard Stern asked Trump if he would run for president. Mr. Trump said,
“Personally I don’t need it, I will be ok. But I really worry about my children and grandchildren, the world is moving in the wrong direction. If, in the near future, the next Reagan does not become president, then I will try. See how much support I get, and then decide”.
On Tuesday President Trump gave a speech at the UN. Without a doubt this is the best speech he has given as President. In all my decades of life, I have never heard as good a speech as the one PDJT gave. It was the most honest speech that any world leader has ever done. He came to an organization that is used to hearing how important they are as leaders. President Trump set a new tone to world politics. Presidents serve people, not people serving presidents.
The President celebrated the American people. He articulated clearly – in great detail – what ‘America First’ means and what ‘Make America Great Again’ means. It is the responsibility of any leader of any country to put his own people first and his own country first. This is what PDJT has done. This is why he has such respect for Boris Johnson because Johnson puts the British people first. This is why he has respect for Kim of North Korea. Kim wants to do right by his people but is currently hamstrung by China.
PDJT is not interested in being in some exclusive club of world leaders. It’s foreign policy malpractice if you do not put your country first. PDJT got a subtle dig at authoritarianism and at countries like China and Iran, who try to control their populations from the top down. In his own way PDJT was standing with the people of Hong Kong. He was celebrating freedom, integrity, free choice, democracy, and all of the things that we used to believe in from the Bill of Rights, from the Declaration of Independence and from the Constitution. PDJT laid out how each leader can lead in a great way for their people.
“Father continue to bless and protect our president. Give him your wisdom, favor, strength, soundness and wholeness in every area of his life and his family. Lord, we know that your hand is on him mightily and on our nation. We cover him and his family with the precious blood of Jesus Christ and ask that no weapon formed against him will prosper. Lord, we bring you praise for who you, are our almighty and ever loving God, in Jesus name we pray. Amen.”
