This is an excellent video if a bit long (26 minutes). It really speaks to the heart of the matter for all concerned on both sides of the Atlantic. It is a well-presented argument for the validity of the US/UK “populist” movement and the tone-deafness of those who oppose it.
Unelected bureaucrats in the EU should not rule of the citizens of each EU country. Did the people of the EU know, when the EU was created, that was the template for governance?
And we in America hear our elected/unelected bureaucrats saying we should be more like the EU. This is on the lips of almost every Democratic candidate for President. Bernie Sanders has said it over and over. What they really want is for us is to have no say in our own governance. We would be much easier to control that way.
To accomplish this we are continually being belittled. We are “deplorables,” “bitter clingers” unable to face the reality of what they want for us. Of course, what they want is top down control over our lives. The elites claim they know what is best for us. This is Marxism, pure and simple. But, the Marxists have failed to brainwash enough of the masses.
The political establishment chooses to ignore the concept of We the People. WE THE PEOPLE are in charge of America, NOT the political class. It is not the rich and famous, not big-name sports personalities, not the media, not Hollywood, not academia. It’s the regular people who work for a living, pay their taxes, raise their families, and depend upon the freedoms that our founding fathers bequeathed us in our Constitution. We are not, by and large, bigoted, racist or hateful.
I support my President in his attempts to return that control to us. And I support all of the adorable deplorables in America, in the EU, in Hong Kong and around the world who are joining in the fight!
May the Almighty God guide us, protect us, protect the honest leaders among us, and show us the way to defeat the globalists who would like to control us.
