Joe Biden appears to have some momentum as he is slowly increasing his delegate lead over Bernie Sanders. The chances that he can get sufficient delegates to win on the first ballot are going up. The DNC has coalesced around Biden and removed any impediments. All of those who might have siphoned votes away from Biden have been sidelined.
So the obvious question is what happens next as part of the DNC’s plan to get to their convention in Milwaukee during the summer without the city being set on fire?
For one thing, assuming Biden can continue to garner votes without completely self-destructing on the campaign trail, the MSM will start coming out with stories to tout what a good and decent man Joe Biden is. They will ignore the sad fact that no one in Joe Biden’s family or circle of friends loves him enough to tell him to go sit down.
The man’s mental faculties are declining rapidly. Any journalist, who tells you, “Oh, that was just another Biden gaffe” is lying to you. Biden is losing it and fading fast. Everyone can see it, but very few media types are willing to say it. They all want to keep their jobs. Pointing out the obvious could be a quick ticket to the unemployment line. Remember, the MSM and the Democrats are joined at the hip.
The effort to portray Biden as someone who is principled and on top of things has already begun. Matthew Dallek penned an op ed in the New York Daily News. In it Dallek said that “Biden exudes decency.”
Dallek went on to say,
While it is true that Biden has suffered from tragedy, tragedy does not necessarily convert one into a decent person. And that is the case with Biden. Biden spent decades defaming the man as a drunkard who drove the tractor trailer that was involved in the 1972 accident that killed his first wife and his baby daughter. The investigation into the accident showed clearly that Biden’s wife was at fault for driving through a stop sign. Biden knows this. There was absolutely no evidence that the other driver had been drinking at all. How are Biden’s attempt to defame the man the mark of a “good and decent” person?
Matthew Dallek seems to have forgotten that Joe Biden was one of the people behind the addition of a new verb to the dictionary. That verb is “to bork” which is defined as “to defame or vilify a person systematically.” Biden was a key part of the character assassination of Judge Robert Bork. Biden even bragged about this during one of the Democratic debates last October. Former staffers admitted that Biden hatched this plan against Bork to increase his name recognition for the 1988 primary. How is this the work of a “good and decent” man?
There are many more such incidents in Biden’s career. Peter Schweizer’s book, Profiles in Corruption, has a whole chapter on the corrupt dealings involving Joe Biden.

By the time they are done, perhaps the Holy See in the Vatican will be ready to elevate Biden to sainthood. We here in America know better.
