A Mayor Stands Up To BLM

In Provo, Utah yesterday, a 60-year-old man, who was driving an SUV, was shot.  The man was driving on a street in Provo when he slowed down and got in the right turn lane to make a turn.  “Peaceful” protesters blocked his route and the route of other vehicles. The driver then sounded his horn.  They then surrounded his vehicle.  More “peaceful” protesters rushed to try to block the SUV.

One of the “peaceful” BLM terrorists pulled a gun and demanded the driver get out.  When the driver refused, this “peaceful” terrorist opened fire hitting the driver.   When the driver hit the gas to escape, the terrorist fired another shot through the rear window of the SUV.

Mr. Jesse Taggart has been arrested in connection with the shooting and was booked at the Utah County Jail for the following charges: Attempted Aggravated Murder, Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury, Rioting, Threatening Use of a Weapon in a Fight or Quarrel, Criminal Mischief, Firing a Weapon Near a Highway.

The mayor of Provo, Michelle Kaufusi, after carefully reviewing the incident, made a public statement.

“Peaceful protests are a fundamental right and often can become an important catalyst for positive change. Criminal acts and violence such as we saw last night in Provo were anything but peaceful and are UNACCEPTABLE. The public safety of our community is a top priority.”

This mayor has a spine.  Because she did not grovel or bow down to the terrorists, she has become a target.  As we noted yesterday, when someone decides to stand up to the people who are trying to overthrow the government, the bullies descend.

“Side with the police and their narrative or side with peace.”

“Attempted vehicular manslaughter is to be condemned strongly.”

“You have shown that you are an ineffective mayor and leader for the community!”

“We are ashamed at your response with your news conference.”

“Respectfully Resign voluntarily and drop out as a Mayor and Candidate or we will proceed with our process!”

“I hope people realize that you have a simple mindset.”

This is just a sample of the messages sent to the Mayor.  Lying about what happened is a particular favorite of these people.  Name calling and shaming are two others near the top of the list.

Thank you, Mayor Michelle Kaufusi for standing up for constitutional order.
