AG Bill Barr testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday. The hearing was delayed more than an hour because the Chairman, Jerrold Nadler, was involved in a minor traffic accident on his way to Capitol Hill. This delayed the circus that the Democrats had planned for this hearing.
The Democrats had no desire to receive answers to their questions. House Judiciary Committee Democrats repeatedly interrupted Attorney General Bill Barr, “reclaiming their time,” loading their questions with political statements and chastising him for “disrespect” when he tried to speak. This was clearly a planned strategy by the Democrats. And they wonder why AG Barr was reluctant to appear before them. Barr knew that the Democrats had no desire to exercise the function of the committee. The function includes oversight of the workings of the DOJ.
The Washington Free Beacon put together a video clip of all the times that the Democrats interrupted Bill Barr. This was clearly a coordinated plan. The Democrats think that nobody noticed.
The Democrats are worse than a bunch of kids in a kindergarten sandbox. They are growing more desperate by the day. No doubt they feared rational and reasoned answers to their questions. The American public needs to remember this come election day in November.
