The media would have you believe that Harris is a safe, moderate choice. They want to believe that Harris is pragmatic, capable of building coalitions to solve problems. Nothing could be further from the truth but you will not hear that from the MSM.
VP picks generally do not matter much. They are often used to help shore up some support in one part of the electorate. Rarely are they expected to have to actually step in and run the country. However, many voters believe that Biden will not last a full term without needing to be replaced. Biden’s cognitive decline seems to be getting worse day by day. So, much more than ever in the past, voters look at Harris as a possible future president.
The problem with Harris is that she is a weather vane. Harris changes directions and positions faster than the winds in a dust devil.
Erick Erickson noted,
In California, she believed she needed to be a law-and-order tough woman to become attorney general and then senator, so she pursued criminals ruthlessly. She threw a lot of young Black men in jail for marijuana possession to show rich, white Californians that she was not like other San Francisco liberals. She ignored prosecuting those whose crimes could ruffle the feathers of constituencies she thought she needed. Then she got to the Senate and needed to show the left she was fully woke, so she went overboard arguing that someone’s sincere Christian faith should be enough to block that person from the judiciary.
Harris was one of the first to say we must believe every woman when it came to the faux accusers of Brett Kavanaugh. Now she is good to be running with someone who has been credibly accused of sexual assault. Of course, at one point, Harris said she believed Biden’s accusers.
During the primaries Harris embraced the entire range of left-wing policy proposals, from executive orders for assault-weapon bans to universal government-run health care to advocating for illegal aliens to the green new deal.
However, Harris was tapped partly to bring something of a law and order image to the ticket. This is due to her credentials as an attorney general. However, Harris, along with all top Democrats, has not spoken one word against the violence we see playing out across the country.
Harris is a chameleon. She will take any position to gain power for herself. Harris will be “woke” when she needs to be “woke.” Harris will stop being “woke” if it will result in the acquisition of more power for herself. Being a dictator would suit her just fine.
Americans should hesitate to embrace any candidate who will say or do anything to get elected, and Harris is such a candidate.

Joe Biden has chosen a woman who was willing to embrace purported victims of sexual assault only to then throw them overboard just to get a few inches closer to power. She’s a woman who was willing to round up poor Black men and throw them in jail just to get a few inches closer to power and then demand they be freed to get a few more inches closer to power. She’s what is wrong with the system; she cannot fix the system.
