A Police Officer Remembered

Ann Dorn, widow of the retired St. Louis Capt. David Dorn, who was killed during protests in June in St. Louis, spoke on the final night of the Republican National Convention on Aug. 27, 2020.  David Dorn was killed trying to defend the business of a friend from BLM looters who were ravaging the city.

Ann Dorn spoke about her husband’s commitment to helping people of all stripes, young and old.

Ann Dorn went onto describe the night her husband was murdered by BLM looters.  She described the horror of finding out that her husband’s execution was live streamed on Facebook and that her grandson had seen his grandfather killed in real time.

Ann Dorn asked for people to step up and end the nightmare that the country is going through.  How many more spouses will have to hear that their husband or wife has been killed in the line of duty?

“Violence and destruction are not legitimate forms of protest.  They do not safeguard black lives.  They only destroy them.”

Dorn finished by calling for more people like her husband being involved in law enforcement.  President Trump believes in and supports law enforcement.  This is the opposite of the Democrats who have encouraged lawlessness across the country in hopes of winning the election in November.  Despite Democratic campaign ads that say otherwise, Joe Biden himself publicly stated that he wanted to “absolutely” defund the police.

David Dorn did not have to die.  His death is the direct result of Democratic mayors and governors giving looters, rioters and anarchists “space to destroy.”  The only clear path to restoring law and order is to elect PDJT to four more years.
