  1. Confirmed 3 new Originalist Supreme Court Justices

  4. A GDP exceeding 3 percent over the last six quarters (Obama claimed we would never see a GDP increase that big again)
  5. Initial weekly jobless claims are at a 50-year low before COVID

  19. Border wall construction underway
    • Secured $1.6 billion for border wall construction in the March 2018 omnibus bill
    • Protects US from MS-13
    • Fights illegal drugs at border
    • Authorized National Guard to help secure border
  20. Signed the First Step Act: Creating criminal justice reform for individuals sentenced to long term prison sentences under the Crime Bill Act of 1994 (Bill Clinton and Joe Biden)
    • Allows for fairer sentencing of some drug offenders
    • Gives many nonviolent drug offenders, who are disproportionally black, a second chance
  21. Historic Tax reform
    • Provided more than 5.5 trillion in gross tax cuts, nearly 60% of which will go to families
    • Increased the exemption of the death tax to help save Family Farms & Small Business
    • 9 in 10 American workers saw an increase in their paycheck
    • More than 100 utility companies have lowered electric, gas, or water rates
    • Ernst and Young found 89 percent of companies planned to increase worker compensation
    • Investment is flooding back into the US due to the tax cuts
    • More than $450 billion: $150 billion in 2017 and $300 billion in the first quarter of 2018
    • Retail sales have surged: 0.5 percent in July 2018, an increase of 6.4 percent from July 2017
    • ISMs index of manufacturing scored its highest reading in 14 years
    • Six million employees received tax bonuses and benefits
